Great apartment and fantastic location. The apartment is located on a quiet, peaceful street; but is only a short walk from nearby restaurants and the train station to go downtown. Our host JoAnne was very accommodating and check-in was a breeze. Would definitely stay here again next time we're in Chicago!
I stayed with my mom in this cute apartment during a mom-daughter weekend. The location is perfect - I love Old Town with its charm and quiet leafy streets. Bars, restaurants, and shops are within walking distance. We took cabs into the city for less than $10. The train is also available.
The apartment is perfect for a weekend - cozy but comfortable. Easy access. Safe. Clean. Lovely neighborhood.
Would definitely recommend this to friends!
The location was perfect. The apartment was barely acceptable. The air conditioning didn't work. I contacted Joann about it and she said the ac was new, judging from the amazing amount of dust on the filters I would doubt that. I think a little freon would have gone a long way. The rat traps were off putting and the lights in the kitchen didn't work. It smelled musty as well. We left a couple days early. Proceed with caution if you opt to stay there!
Great location, convenient to El and lots of dining & shopping. Comfortable seating, tight but well-equipped kitchen, nice bed.
Great location. Very peaceful quiet neighborhood. Easy street parking. JoAnne was very quick to respond and has a very nice set up with her properties. Definitely recommended.
Joanne accommodated us in her LOVELY apartment on very short notice. She bent over backwards to get the place ready for us and for us to be able to drop off our stuff when we landed in Chicago bright and early with no place to go. The place was perfect; clean, well furnished and super cute. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to explore Chicago from the Old Town Lincoln Park area! We will be back!
The reservation was canceled 3 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Could not have had a better time. Steve was such a gracious and welcoming host. They made it easy to access the apartment, which was exactly as pictured. Fantastic hosts!
We stayed an entire week at this apartment of JoAnne & Steve's and we ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! We were visiting our son in Lincoln Park and this apartment was just an 8 minute walk to his apartment, so convenient. The apartment was very clean and JoAnne and Steve were very easy to reach if something came up. Looking forward to staying in one of their apartments next summer when we return to Chicago for my son's wedding.
JoAnne and Steve were our first airbnb stay and it was AWESOME!
This was my first AirBnB experience and it could not have been easier. JoAnne was very attentive and quick to respond to any questions I had. She was very understanding when I was going to stay a couple extra days but could not at the last minute. The location was great and the neighborhood was very nice. I would recommend this location to any one of my friends. Thanks JoAnne.
