  • This spot is very cute and cozy! We enjoyed the friendly cats and the view of the mountains. We used the grill one night which was great! Outside we set up a game of horse-shoes which was fun. It´s a short drive to Pappy and Harriets which is a great restaurant-bar to listen to live music, play pool, and wonder through Pioneer Town. The stars at night are amazing! We explored Joshua Tree two days and it´s a bit of a longer drive than we had imagined (however I guess it depends on which park entrance you use / the hikes you decide to walk). There is a great coffee shop down the street on HWY 62: Ma Rouge.

  • My boyfriend and I had the pleasure of staying at "Camp Terri" for a couple of nights while visiting Joshua Tree in March.. we hated to leave! Terri was a wonderful hostess. The space was clean and cozy, and very private, you forgot that you were living in someones backyard. Peaceful, relaxing and completely unique. As vegans, we found it VERY easy to eat in Yucca Valley and Joshua Tree.. check out Pappy and Harriet's, Crossroads and Natural Sisters.. Yum! Since we have returned home, no more that two days will pass without mention of the cozy desert cottage. The whole experience left us feeling so inspired. HIGHLY recommended.. we will surely return one day! Thanks Terri!!!!

  • Terri was a wonderful host during our 2 night stay in Yucca Valley. The house was ADORABLE, with all the privacy you could ask for and amenities for a quick trip like a mini-fridge, warm shower and cute picnic table out front. The house was conveniently located; only a 10 minute drive to Joshua Tree National Park. We'll definitely be staying here again for our return to Yucca Valley. Thanks Terri!

  • This cottage was a great place to relax and unwind well away from the buzz of the city. Terri's hospitality was great, and the few days I had there were wonderful.

  • Terri is comfortable. She is non intrusive. She offers a simple, clean tiny house. It is welcoming and well designed. It is a sturdy little house. It was fun to stay at.

  • Terri's cottage was even better than I imagined it to be. Very quiet, cozy and close to all that Joshua Tree has to offer. Everything inside and outside of the cottage was perfect and it had all the necessities. Cannot wait to stay here again.

  • Fantastic getaway in the beautiful valley. It was so convenient to hike all day in Joshua Tree NP then come back to the cozy little house, and the animals on the property were all love bugs, awesome vacation.

  • Terri's cottage could not have been more perfect for what we needed for our adventure to Joshua Tree and The Salton Sea. Terri was very friendly to us and being greeted by a friendly dog or cat every time we entered the yard was definitely a plus too! We felt comfortable and welcomed.

Also, if you have a free night, the food and live music at Pappy and Harriet's is absolutely worth checking out.

If we're in the area again, we will definitely stay here.

  • A wonderful space built by Terri herself. Tranquil, clean, cozy, and well-equipped. The cottage is a great location for exploring Joshua Tree and for decompressing from city life. We look forward to returning again in the future.

  • Terri's Cozy Cottage is exactly as described- cute, cozy and welcoming. We were quite comfortable with the bed but we would recommend bringing a mattress pad for longer stays. The cookware, fridge, and gas grill were perfect for most cooking needs. Bonus points for Terri's adorable pets!
