We had a great experience staying at Ruthie's top floor apt. It was easy to find, parking wasn't too much trouble, and the apt was very nice and clean. This was our first time using airbnb, and we had a great experience.
One tip we found - we used Uber to get around the city a lot, and it worked out quite well. We also downloaded Lyft, which is not as big where we are from. Lyft seems to be running a special where your first ten rides are 50% off, so that saved us money too!
We had the most comfortable stay at Ruthies apartment. We arrived late and appreciated the self check-in and how great everything was prepared. The kitchen was filled with coffee, tea and even some fruits, plus great recommendations for restaurants nearby. Its a quiet neighborhood and we loved it everyday to come back from the busy city into this cozy home.
Ruthie's apartment is just as advertised. It's very clean, walking distance to cool restaurants, groceries and Lincoln Park. Our visit included hiking Mt. Tamalpais State Park & Marin Headlands, so the easy access to the Golden Gate Bridge is a bonus. Perfect for a couple, and we were able to park usually on the next block - not a big deal for us. Highly recommended if you are looking for a comfy place in the RIchmond district.
The apartment is superb, it was bigger than I thought it would be. Everything you need is there and it was very convenient for us. We were able to take a walk down to Ocean Beach and also Lands End Lookout. There is a bus stop a 1 minute walk away that will take you into the centre of San Francisco (bus 38R) if you get off at Market and 3rd then cross the road, 50 yrds up is a 7 Eleven you can catch a bus there that takes you to Fishermans Wharf (bus 8).
Cost is $2.25.
Ruthie had some wine in the fridge, fresh friut, juice and a few other bits and pieces but most importantly for us was milk and tea bags.
Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to our friends.
Andree and I loved the apartment. It was well laid out and very comfortable for 2. Ruthie was extremely helpful on our Day of Arrival. She helped us navigate the neighborhood and the Info guides that were in the apartment was a nice touch. Made a little video to show our friends the apartment. Hope you like it.
We really enjoyed staying in Ruthie's apartment.
The apartment was beautiful and very spacious feeling, with more supplies ((website hidden) utensils, linens) than any other place we've ever stayed, which was a really nice touch.
The location was great for going to places like Land's End and Golden Gate Park. If you want to spend most of your day downtown or along Fisherman's Wharf, it'll take you some time to get there with public transportation but there's a bus stop right on the corner and it's definitely possible.
We would absolutely stay there again the next time we're in San Francisco.
