We had a wonderful stay in this apartment. It was roomy and had a beautiful view of San Francisco. It was so close to the pacific ocean, we walked there several times. I would definitely stay her again!
What a wonderful experience we had! Ruthie's home was fantastic and provided everything we needed plus more. It was nice to come "home" to a comfortable, familiar place each night. Many wonderful restaurants, shops, and groceries are nearby and the bus is one block away. The views are beautiful and tourist sites are within walking distance or a short bus ride just out the door. Thank you Ruthie for adding to our adventure in San Francisco!
We absolutely loved our stay at here. The apartment was unbelievably clean and neat, very spacious too. Ruthie left a lot of information of things to do while we're in San Francisco. She also left us directions to nearby restaurants and shops. I definitely plan on staying here again. What an amazing location too. It is better than what the description says. Thank you Ruthie for being available too! :)
I was in town for a week for a vey intense workshop and I must say that I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The description and pictures don't lie. The serene space was beautifully kept with tons of natural light coming in. The location is one of my favorites in the city. And I must say that the bed was so comfortable. In fact so much more then mine at home. I slept like a baby! I highly recommend Ruthie's space to anybody interested. She was very nice and always responded back promptly. I would definitely want to stay here again!
We have had a wonderful time in Ruthie's apartment! It was easy to find and located on a quiet street, a couple of blocks from the parks. Was nice to be away from the busy-ness of the city. The apartment was clean, comfortable bed, soft towels, hot shower and bath and toiletries provided. The kitchen was stocked with essentials that we were really grateful for (e.g butter, milk) and PG TIPS TEA BAGS!!!! I was so happy-as an English girl I was missing my hot tea - Ruthie thank you so much! There was also coffee and herbal teas.
The apartment was exactly as described, it is out of the city but the 38, 38L and 1 buses were easy to find and use, took about 40mins to get into city. I recommend downloading the 511 transit app, it uses your location and intended destination to calculate routes and we found it very helpful.
We really appreciated Ruthie's suggestions e.g. doing the coastal walk and Land's End trail, this is probably a missed gem for visitors staying downtown. The views out to the Pacific and Golden Gate Bridge were breathtaking - and the opportunity to walk down to a sandy cove for a paddle in the Pacific Ocean. There is also a table in the apartment with information books, leaflets and suggestions for attractions, places to visit and eat etc. if you haven't made plans.
We felt Ruthie had added the personal touch to our stay - in hotels you are just the next guest in a list of room occupants, but we really felt that Ruthie had thought about what would be nice touches to make our stay comfortable. We really appreciated the care she has put in to making the apartment a lovely place to stay and feel at home.
Wonderful location. Beautiful and comfortable home. Exactly as shown in the photos. Ruthie kept in contact before and after we arrived to make sure everything was find. Lots of wonderful maps and brochures to look over in the home, very helpful.
