  • Highly recommend this lovely casita. Although we didn't have a chance to meet Mr. Bernard in person, Bernard's friend, Mark, helped us during the stay. They provided some fruits, a bottle of milk, a box of eggs, coffee and more in casita for guests to enjoy! We would definitely stay in the casita whenever we visit Tucson.

  • We had a great time staying at the private casita! Bernard was out of town, but he had some friends taking care of the place and they were also very helpful. He sent us all the info we needed to make sure we knew how to get there and what to do when we arrived. The casita was very nice and clean. It felt very cozy and welcoming. Bernard even provided us with an air mattress for our little boy to use since we all couldn't fit on the bed. It was also very nice to be able to pull our car into the gated driveway and not have to worry about leaving it out on the street. (Although the neighborhood seemed nice enough that I wouldn't have minded having to leave it on the street if needed.) We will definitely stay there again in the future when visiting Tucson!

  • What a delightful, too short visit to this hidden treasure! My wife & I are elderly; in Tucson visiting a dear friend who is in a care facility nearby. Our accommodations were very respectable, clean, quiet, and comfortable. Being able to park in a fence-secured property was a plus, as was the tiny hummingbird who greeted us in the lovely courtyard. Our host had a beautiful orchid inside on the desk and fresh fruit in a bowl on the dinette. Nice touches...we'll be back. Bob and Sharon - Las Cruces, NM (phone number hidden)

  • Our stay in Tucson was wonderful and the casita was one of the reasons. It is perfect for two people, the interior is well appointed and had everything we needed and more, even sun screen to protect from the bright Tucson sun. The garden space is lovely there was even enough room to have a couple of guests visit. The location is great, near town and the university. I would definitely book this casita again should I revisit Tucson.

  • Bernard's Tucson casita is first rate! Architecturally very well done, quite, private and exceedingly comfortable. I found it in ultra clean condition and thoughtfully supplied with all necessities. Great location and friendly neighbors too.

  • We spent a pleasant week in the casita. It wasn't fancy, but it was neat, clean, and conveniently located. The private patio (email hidden) for a late afternoon glass of wine, or just sitting and relaxing. The owners, Bernard and Deborah, were away on family business, but left a very helpful and considerate proxy in charge: Mark. We had a stress free respite from the long cold winter in the North, and came home refreshed.

  • My stay in this lovely casita was wonderful! Bernard was unfortunately called out of town and unable to be there during my stay but his friend Mark was taking care of the place in Bernard's absence and (email hidden)! Bernard checked in with me several times via text to make sure all was well!

The location was convenient and very easy to navigate from regardless of where you were headed in Tuscon. The casita was clean and as promised. It has a lovely yard great for relaxing in the sun and reading a book. I would definitely recommend this spot and will definitely consider it renting it on my next trip to Tucson!

  • Bernard was out of town during my husband and my stay at the casita. He left us in the care of Mark who stayed in the house in front of the casita. Mark was attentive to all our needs. We had a great stay and felt so lucky to have found this comfortable home-like place to stay. The casita was the perfect size, clean and well furnished. The bed was great, and the kitchen made everything so (website hidden) of all was the private, outdoor space--really made our stay! There is also a laundry facility which would make longer stays quite comfortable. Grocery stores are nearby, and there is secure parking behind a locked gate. We travel to Tucson frequently and will definitely stay again.

  • I stayed in the casita for 5 months, and everything was perfectly taken care of. Bernard handled minor repairs very quickly when needed, and the property was very well functioning the entire time
I was there. I would highly recommend this casita to anyone.
