Having lived within walking distance for the past several years, I know from experience the tranquility and beauty of this spot. Massive oak and maple trees grace the front yard providing shade on the screened in front porch for a perfect reading spot. The back yard offers a full patio for sunbathing or outdoor dining and a pergola provides a respite from the afternoon sun. Fabulous views of the hills in the distance provide the place to capture sunsets.
The home is newly remodeled and fully furnished with three bedrooms, one full bath, a large kitchen open to a dining area, living room and artist's studio.
For those seeking inspiration to get creative juices flowing again, you have found it. The studio is bathed in natural light and has a sink for those interested in painting, sculpting, building or whatever medium you choose. For those seeking darker, rustic spaces for writing inspiration or the like, there is a barn with electricity nearby. Nature enthusiasts will be delighted with the sounds and sights of pileated woodpeckers and enormous oak, poplar and hickory trees. Goats are in pasture in back, great for kids but parents need to keep eye out b/c goats are curious and may nibble!
The locale is a favorite among bikers. After a long ride, relish the outdoor shower! Edwin Warner and Percy Warner Parks which comprise over 2,000 acres of hiking, biking and horse back riding trails is only seven miles away. The Harpeth River is even closer for all your canoeing and floating desires.
Whether you need a private retreat or a resting spot while you take in city life, this is the ideal place for your Nashville vacation.

Well behaved pets are considered. They are required to stay in the Garage/Artists studio connected to the house. They are never allowed inside the main house. This space can be heated and cooled. Plenty of room for dog bed or crate. We understand your pet may be perfectly behaved, but we do have guests with allergy conditions, therefore, animals are never allowed inside the house.
If the pet is voice command trained they can be out in the yard otherwise they must stay on a leash.
Owners are expected to pick up after their pets and deposit droppings in a bag in the blue trash can outside. There is plenty of area to walk pets along the roads. This is a low traffic area and a very quiet area. Noisy animals will not be a good fit for this area.
There is live stock, therefore, your animals may not be allowed to roam free. This is for their safety and the safety of the animals who reside on the property.
Young professional. Lover of old homes, animals and the earth. Seeing things grow whether it is a garden, person or a place to lay one's head is one of my favorites and being involved and helping in that process is even better. Discovering off the beaten path new places with friends who I can laugh my guts out with is the best. My top things that make a place great - clean space with natural light, quiet place to sleep at night, spot to sit outside and take in the surroundings, comfy bed, hosts that are helpful but not up in my grill (please give me the scoop on the best local places to eat fresh, healthy foods), filtered drinking water. And by the way, the space I offer has all these things and more!
