Fantastic stay! Janice is a wonderful host and her house is in a great location. I really had a good time and look forward to coming back.
The description of the place was a little confusing - I thought we would have a separate home from the main home, so it was not as private as I thought and it was smaller inside than I imagined. But overall, it was comfortable and very homey. There were lots of extra nice touches that made it seem like home. My husband and I went to Sedona for our 20th anniversary and it was great to see the beautiful scenery everyday and not have to stay in the main center of town. You will learn a lot about a great author and some background to Sedona if you look up the name of the street she lives on!
Such a beautiful convenient gem in Sedona. Janice is so kind and the property couldn't be more perfect. Cute and comfortable with easy access to the creek and town. We had a great weekend and would absolutely stay again.
We were made to feel very welcome despite our late arrival. The place is in a lovely , tranquil location but close enough to everything in the area.
Loved this place!
Peach Tree Retreat was great - very nice accommodations in a quiet neighborhood at the base on Cathedral rock. Janice was a very gracious host - I would definitely go back!
This was a great getaway for my friend and I - it's such a charming, comfortable space, exactly as described with a private entrance in a beautiful, natural setting. It sits adjacent to a dry creek that provides a short hike to Oak Creek and Cathedral Rock - perfect for swimming, hiking, bird-watching, photography with no need to drive. Coffee on the patio in the mornings was lovely. We definitely hope to return!
About the Host, Janice
I retired to Sedona in 2000. I have volunteered for all of the community activities, I
have been a counselor, therapist, mentor, and teacher. I am now enjoying
my retirement in Sedona. I have explored all of the back trails and off road jeep trails.
There is every activity from playing golf in a five star resort , to hiking the Grand Canyon.
My home is eco friendly and a great place to meditate in nature. I am a writer, poet,
gardner, hiker ,dancer, and lover of nature. I have lived in Sedona 15 years and I am familiar with the history and all that Sedona has to offer and I love to share with my guests info on the area. I will be of assistance to book
massages, meditation instruction, and site seeing trips that are available.
My guests can have total privacy and some times I never see them.
My motto is to love one another.
