Annabelle was very welcoming and graciously waited for us at the apartment even though we got in late. She gave us detailed information about the apartment, amenities, and the city. She even thoughtfully left us with a welcome package. The apartment was within a great location with easy beach access and the neighborhood had everything you would need.

Anabelle was a wonderful host. She picked us up at the airport and told us how to go around in the neighbourhood. I highly recommend you to stay at Anabelle's place

Anabelle's place was fantastic. Her brother in law, Christophe, checked us in but Anabelle checked in with me periodically to ensure our stay was up to par. 15 minute train ride to the city center of Nice but the area around the flat is great as well. Keep in mind the beach is all rocks just an FYI if you're looking for sand. Overall definitely recommend this place!

Anabelle was wonderful! My friend and I stayed three nights and it was great. She gave us the key and it was low maintenance. The apartment is 3 minutes away from the beach and bus 217 (stop is right on the beach/main road) will take you right to Nice for 1.50 euros. The area is not too crowded with tourists (at least not in mid-May) and relatively affordable for young people. Nice is known for being expensive, but we found it no more expensive than Paris.

The apartment and location was decent enough for what I needed. I never met Anabelle only her father n law. No problems. Would use again.

We enjoyed a three night stay in Cagnes Sur Mer. Anabelle's apartment is in a great location, very close to the train station, shops, restaurants and the beach

This was our second Airbnb booking and we were extremely happy with our choice (more luck on my part to be honest!). Anabelle's communication was a bit hit and miss (although friendly). There was no instructions from her as to what floor the apartment was on and it was another lady who met us when we arrived (she didn't speak any English, but we got by). The apartment is compact, but fine for us with two small children. A cot was provided, which was a big help. There were plenty of cleaning products for us to keep the apartment tidy. The floor took a couple of cleans, as our baby was very dirty when she crawled for the first time, but nothing major, and the bed linen was clean with plenty of towels. The kitchen is extremely well stocked with tea, coffee, condiments, cutlery, etc. There are lots of very useful English books (Lonely Planet, Famous Five, Agatha Christie) and leaflet guides to the area. The bathroom looks like it hasn't been touched since it was built in the 1960s and could do with a shower curtain and shower head being fitted, but it was fine for our needs. The washing machine was great. Special mention of the air conditioner - it's the quietest we've ever experienced! The apartment block residents are friendly and it's a quiet area. There is fast wireless internet and a FREE TV box (now in HD!) Our eldest daughter loved sleeping in the top bunk every night! The railway station and beach can be reached in under 5 minutes easily. Beware that Cros-De-Cagnes is a small station and there are no SNCF ticket collection machines, lifts and very regular train services. Having said that, we managed to get to Nice, Cannes and Monaco cheaply and easily. The bigger Cagnes-Sur-Mer station is a longer, but easy 30 minutes walk. Cros-De-Cagnes is an wonderful place to stay. We went to a few other places nearby and none were as good as this location. It's quiet, the local people are welcoming and the choice of restaurants and shops are very good. The place has a lovely vibe about it. There's a superb boulangerie outside the apartment. We had something from here nearly every day - absolutely delicious! There is a small but perfectly well stocked supermarket next door, which was great. A bigger Casino store is less than 5 minutes walk away. The Asian restaurant, also in the same block, is one of the best in the area. We had home made 3 EUR pizzas and breads from Da Nino, which is about a 2 minute walk. Grab some and go and watch the sunset! I thought we struck gold staying here and would happily recommend it.
