I can teach you how to sail the windrider yachts or use a kayak if you wish to get out on the water.

Very helpful and kindly host! Thanks for everything with my stay, lovely dogs, super clean room, very comfortable bed, quiet town to stay, not far away to taupo, high recommend!!
Our stay with Brigid was great. We had planned some trips, but after getting some of her local knowledge, we went on to see some fantastic things in Taupo as recommended by Brigid.
If we ever go back to Taupo/Kinloch, we will definitely contact Brigid to see if she has space available.
The room is perfect with a big comfy bed, we were very happy with our stay.
Being at Brigid's was truly a home away from home. I felt very relaxed there because Brigid herself was very relaxed, warm, caring, trusting and gave great suggestions re the local area and places to visit. Kinloch is a beautiful spot, quiet and relatively close to the busyness of Taupo, and Kinloch House is about a 15 minute walk to stunning Lake Taupo.
I look forward to my next visit, Brigid.
Thank you so much for such a lovely experience of your part of the world.
We arrived at Kinloch House following excellent directions, to a delightful two storey timber house with great character. Owing to previous commitments, we didn't meet Brigid right away, but everything about the house, the facilities and environment were exactly as described. Brigid also let us borrow two from a selection of mountain bikes to ride around the area, which was very generous. The house indeed offers a great feeling of spaciousness and sunlight. The garden to the rear is private and again, very sunny with great views. Many thanks indeed for a wonderful three night stay - thoroughly recommended.
Great host! Brigid is very generous, she offered me lunch and the use of her mountainbikes and sailing boats. Very traveller minded and flexible toward arrivals and departures. The room and bed were very comfortable and clean.
We absolutely fell in love with Brigid and Abby and Kinloch House.
B and B and B and B and B and B (Bed and Breakfast and Bikes and Boats and Bliss and Brigid.)
Brigid welcomed us into her beautiful home and made us feel so welcome that our one day planned stay turned into two. Had we more time we would have stayed longer. (Kinloch House was booked up anyway, Brigid laughed when we asked her about her yearly rate.)
She took us on bike rides and tramping and generously spent time helping us plan our itinerary, leading us to off-the-beaten track places we would not have known otherwise.
If you come to Lake Taupo, we can't imagine any other place to stay.
A perfect place for a group of 3 friends who feel we made a 4th.
Thank you Brigid, Your home is absolutely lovely, and I received the most warm welcome, I certainly feel like I got not only great accommodation but I have found a new friend. The spaces/rooms are fantastic and you provide excellent wardrobe and drawer spaces, which as a person who travels a lot is great. Looking forward to returning to the lovely spot of Kinloch. Cheers magy
