This place is GAW-GEOUS! ; ) A super host, I found Chris to be extremely responsive, communicative, considerate and understanding! He was able to book/accommodate me ridiculously last minute [one of the few hosts I found who could do so in the area!] and was just excellent all around. I stayed there with my four year old daughter and, although the shower is not ideal over a tub, it worked great for us. The grounds are beautiful, exterior of main house and this guest house are just lovely. Really, the place is beautiful, has plenty of storage for you to put away your things, has everything you need for a home away from home/vacation home! I do feel I need to mention the immense television/entertainment system. We're not a big television family, but we do like our Netflix and this system is awesome! I wish we had it at home, but I may never leave home if we did.
Atwater/Atwater Village is totally walkable to parks, restaurants, stores... and my daughter and I bought the best books ever from Alias Books East in the Village. I love that bookstore and wish we had one like it back home! Great curation of perfect kids and adult books! I love that the neighborhood and area is absolutely lovely, walkable to lots of things, and convenient to everything. Lots of sweet houses adorn this and the nearby streets. People are super friendly. Area is quiet and serene. I would recommend this place, the area and the host to anyone!
A very smooth experience from start to finish. Chris was very responsive and accommodating. The place was perfect for one or two people, quiet and clean. Didn't make use of the interior courtyard but the waterfall sounds provided a comforting restful atmosphere. I would surely come back again.
Great place in a wonderful, central location in LA. Atwater Village is a great little neighborhood to relax in or you can use it as a launching pad for all LA has to offer. Would definitely recommend staying here and hope to make it down again soon. Chris's recommendations are spot on too.
Chris was a fantastic host. His place was a wonderful, modern retreat. And there is a waterfall in the back yard! Great location, great place. Definitely recommend!
Chris was there to meet us when we got there and very helpful throughout. the house was beautifully furnished and everything seemed quite new...would have helped to have directions to dishwasher though, couldn't figure it out...bed was comfy, shower great and the outside was unbelievable, beautiful yard and sooooo restful. our son is nearby in Atwater Village and we could easily walk to his house..the location was near the town with restaurants , etc. Thank you, Chris and Lyndsi
P.S. Really appreciated having a washer and dryer too!
Chris did a great job making my wife and I feel welcome. His communication was excellent, the description of the rental was accurate in every respect......it is a lovely unit, and we really enjoyed our stay.
I met Chris right away and felt at home. The space is spectacular -- the photos don't do it justice. It's amazing! I ended up working on the patio outside the guesthouse most of the time because it was so comfortable and gorgeous. It's just as modern and well styled as the W hotel, only you get a semi- private patio with an incredible water fountain that sounds like rain and a kitchen. *And* included WiFi and premium channels on a huge flat screen tv.
