Lovely decorated 17th century apartment (ground floor) in the most beautiful part of historical Leiden. Walking distance to/from the Central Station. Airport by train: 20, Amsterdam: 30 minutes. Two persons, no children or babies. No smoking.
The apartment on the groundfloor is very comfortable, although not very big. The rooms are spacious enough for 2 people and the small patio is nice to have a drink or a meal outside. Everything is very clean, tidy and organised.
Quest have access to all parts of the apartment, all wardrobes, cupboards etc. Whatever is in stock, like coffee, tea, olive oil, etc is free for the guests. They can, if they wish, also use the big medieval cave/cellar underneath.
Interaction with guests
I will welcome the guest upon arrival, give them the 'grand tour' and hand them the keys. Being an Art Historian, I would love to give the guests a guided tour through the historical centre.
Other things to note
Windows and doors have beautifully decorated stained glasses with small panels that look like paintings made by Rembrandt.
No smoking. No pats. No use of machines or other noises in the kitchen between 10.00 pm (22.00h) and 8.00 am the next morning, because of the neighbour who has his bedroom next to the kitchen.
The appartment is very concenient for me because it's on walking distance from the University of Leiden where I'm a student in Art History. In between courses and exams I'm working as a Travel Agent at Angeli Travel ( I do a lot of travelling, reason I can easily rent out the place, so other people as well can enjoy staying here in the beautiful historical center of Leiden.
