Nestled within the red rocks, Laura's place is quiet, healing and beautiful. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

In a town that advertises "energy vortexes" one of the best-feeling places we found was with a cup of coffee in Laura's shaded and lovely backyard. Her place is in a beautiful and quiet part of town. There is much to explore within a five minute drive, yet also very close to all other needs. Laura is an extremely accommodating and wonderful person. Your mini-apartment is private yet she is close by and readily available to help. This has been one of our best experiences with airbnb. We are so thankful for her hospitality.

This was our first trip to Sedona and Laura's Zen Retreat was just what we were looking for--restful, comfortable and private. Her garden is a peaceful place to eat your breakfast or have a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. Since we are from the city we also enjoyed viewing the night sky on the road to her property. Laura is a wonderful hostess--not intrusive but available to answer questions and she gave us some great suggestions. We especially enjoyed going to Crescent Moon Recreation Area which is just a short drive away. Be sure to arrive early as the park fills up, especially on the weekend.

This is a great place to stay if you want to be close to all that Sedona has to offer, but want to be off the beaten path. Very quiet, comfortable for 2 or 3 (there is a futon in living room area), and super clean. She has all that you would need if you want to cook, but honestly the restaurants are so fabulous in Sedona, why cook at home?!?! Nice to be able to fix that first morning coffee and sit outside in her very well maintain garden oasis. I even discoverd that she has a little labyrinth tucked in among some fruit trees in the back yard! We used the Air conditioner the 1st night and were cold. After that first night, we never needed it. Just opened up he windows and allowed the cool dry breeze pass through. Resting in her comfy bed, listening the desert sounds and gazing at the stars. Laura greeted us upon arrival and was very helpful. Kitchen had staples such as oil, crackers, salad dressings, fresh eggs, and much more, so need to buy a whole bottle of olive oil for t cooking one 2 meals. Great place! I will come back!!

Laura User ProfileLaura is a superhost.

I have lived in Sedona for 11 years now and can't imagine living anywhere else! I enjoy hiking the many trails here, always something new to see with the changing seasons. I also practice yoga and meditation and enjoy listening to inspiring music and hanging out with close friends. I love to read spiritual, nutritional and fitness related books.

I work part-time at a publishing company, publishing spiritual books and media. I am originally from California, and have lived in Australia for 4 years.
