All of our guests have access to reserve private sessions in our traditional Finnish sauna (for an additional fee) which is tucked away on the edge of the property with a private back deck overlooking the forest.
There's other lodging on-site and the grounds are shared, so we've created a serene haven for everyone. You'll also share access to:
--A winding walking trail that weaves through the untamed woods on our property.
--Plenty of space to relax, play, and soak up the Montana sunshine, whether it's throwing frisbees, sunbathing, or simply gazing at the endless sky.
For additional fees, we offer access to unique and authentic wellness experiences for our guests, including:
--Traditional Finnish Sauna: Tucked away on the property’s edge with private back deck overlooking the forest— 5 min walk from the Lodge. Sweat out toxins and melt away your worries year-round; our high-end sauna range from 140-200 degrees Fahrenheit. (Please book your time when you book your lodging and remember there’s an additional fee).
--Outdoor cold plunge tub: Awaken your senses before or after your sauna.
--Finnish Peat Therapy Experience: Looking for additional detox support during your stay? Elevate your sauna experience with our ancient Finnish peat ritual, the first of its kind in the United States! Hand-shoveled fresh peat imported from pristine Finnish bogs applied to the skin reduces cellulite and inflammation, boosts collagen, and leaves your skin silky smooth. Guided by Tanjariitta, your expert Finnish Sauna Therapist, this transformative journey will leave you feeling revitalized and connected to Nordic nature wisdom.
--Cellulite, Circulation, and Clay Mask treatments: Ask us about our sauna packages: they include dry cupping, rose petal foot baths, dry brushing, immune boosting protocols, and more.
--Event Center Schedule: Varies based on the month. Usually we have ecstatic dance, kundalini yoga class, sound bowl meditations, essential oil workshops, guided art workshops. Please inquire about the current schedule or look at the provided schedule paper for that month.
--Private intensives include: yoga classes, reflexology, acupuncture, massage, sound healing, cupping, essential oil workshops, somatic therapy, expressive arts sessions, dance/movement practice, processing/ integration sessions and more.
And if you're dreaming of a larger gathering, send us a message to discuss renting the entire property for family reunions, healing retreats, corporate events, workshops, and more. We also have other lodging options listed on Airbnb, and we'd be happy to connect you with the perfect fit for your needs.

Other things to note
-Please, no pets allowed onsite. We have therapy horses that live on the property as well as staff dogs. They have their own flow and we don’t want to introduce any outside animals.
-We steward a calm, serene and nature based setting. If you’re seeking a party-like atmosphere, we probably aren’t the place to stay! We like our guests to feel free to kick back under the stars, enjoy some adult beverages around a fire pit, but we also expect all of our guests to be respectful of everyone staying on the property.
-We enforce Quiet Hours from 10PM-6AM each day, especially to honor early morning hikers, skiers, yogis and wellness/relaxation/sauna guests!
-Littering or leaving trash in the woods or any part of the property outside of designated dumpsters is not only irresponsible, but endangers the wildlife and our guests. We’re in bear country. It is absolutely not allowed.
-Wildlife is ABUNDANT here in Montana and specifically here at Blue Star. This includes grizzly bears, black bears, mountain lions, wolves, birds, and deer. Please keep this in mind, respect the outdoors, and be aware of your surroundings as you walk around the property.
-We don’t allow guests under 12 years old as there is abundant wildlife, thick forest and a wild-flowing creek on site. Any guests under 18 years old need to be closely monitored by adults when they are outdoors on the property.
