Great location from termine and within walking distance of the main piazzas and ruins, very fair price and comfortable rooms. Host was really welcoming.
The place is well situated, 5 minutes from the Mètro and 1 stop from the Terminus. The street looks a bit scary, but it was fine. The room was a good size and we appreciated the pvt bathroom. The bed was super comfortable, the place was quiet and the internet was sufficient.
It was clean, inexpensvie and easy for us to get around Rome.
The only negative is the Breakfast. There is no real Breakfast, a wrapped roll and you can turn on the coffee maker. We skipped the roll and took a coffee from the shop just outside the building's front door. It would be easy to provide some yogurt, a nespresso and some fresh breads and pastry in the morning....the poor quality of breakfast earns the lower rating from us.
Camilla's place was just right for our one-nighter in Rome after traveling back from Naples. The room was really comfortable and attractive, and the building's elevator was a relief after lugging our bags up and down over the previous two weeks.
Great location. Close to Termini but not its crassness. Close to Monti, a fab neighbourhood. We'd recommend a visit to Ai Tre Scalini!
Thanks guys, for hosting us.
clean and calm room with private shower and toilets.
5 min walk to metro station
One regret : the breakfast with pre packed croissant, no bread, no fruits.
Camilla and Amayra were wonderful and accommodating hosts! The room was great - comfortable with a private bathroom and shower and plenty of space. The location was convenient - a short block from the metro station and there was a beautiful public garden right across the street. We were able to get everywhere we needed to quickly via the metro. Our stay in Rome was very short but booking this place ended up working out perfectly. Thank you to Camilla and Amayra! -Christine and Kevin
This was our 1st experience of airbnb so I was quite nervous at the prospect of what we would find on our arrival. Despite my initial anxieties, the experience overall was very positive!
We arrived late at night in a taxi. It is fair to say that the location is a little off putting as the district is a little "sketchy" with lots of graffiti and small dark streets, but we had no issues with the local people hanging about. It is a more diverse area than say the centre of Rome, but it did us fine as you are hardly there. Value for money!! :-)
We stayed in the suite which had our own bathroom. A basic breakfast of tea/coffee, cereal & a packaged croissant is available should you wish to take breakfast. The shower water was always hot and 2 bath towels were provided for the duration of our stay. The bed is very comfy & the room is large which is a nice surprise for accommodation in Rome. There were other guests in the other rooms during our stay but we rarely saw anyone, so it was like you had the whole B&B to yourself.
The B&B is not really signposted so for all you future bookers, it is next door to the Krishna restaurant and you have to look for Camilla's name on the buzzer (it is quite small amongst numerous other names). We phoned when we got there and after my third attempted call, Aymara answered and within 10mins she came and met us. Aymara is very friendly & welcoming. Her english is quite limited but she tried to help answer questions where she could.
The B&B is a 15 min walk from the Coliseum and 15 mins in the opposite direction to the termini station. Despite my initial views on the area, the accommodation more than makes up for it.
Overall a positive 1st Airbnb experience & would recommend this property.
We had a great stay for four nights at the suite. Aymara who is a co-owner, greeted us when we arrived and gave us a fantastic dinner recommendation to Trattoria da Danilo just two streets over. The room is clean, comfortable, and quite. The building is conveniently located within walking distance from Termini Station as well as the Colosseum, which was a great help! Breakfast (pastry and spreads) and coffee was provided each morning. We had a minor problem with the hot water to the shower running out, but Aymara came over immediately to take care of it. Overall, we had a wonderful stay with a friendly and helpful host at a convenient location. Would definitely recommend!
A very warm welcome and a perfect stay. We sleept very good, the bed is perfect and the room is very silent. Thank you very much for all.
A lovely room, nice and quiet with big fluffy eiderdowns and handy for the bus station as well. We arrived quite late and it was no problem which was much appreciated. A grand place to stay in Rome!
Camilla was very nice to me when I stay in her house. I have a very late night flight and she let me stay in her apartment until 8pm. She let me feel like at home and very warm. I like her house a lot, this is a very clean and beautiful house at central of Rome. I would like to recommend all of my friend to stay in her house if they visit Rome.
