We like walking and the outdoor life and can recommend many really good walks off the beaten track where you will be (un)lucky to meet anybody else whilst walking the moors. We have traveled extensively round the world and spent over 20 years living overseas.

No Smoking and no muddy boots indoors. Apart from that just common sense and have a great time enjoying the beautiful countryside.
My husband and I had an enjoyable three nights stay in Richard and Rosalyn’s airy, clean and tidy place.
With glass as the main element of the building, the house is flooded with light. It provided a lovely ambience for having breakfast, which consisted of toast with home made marmelades and freshly prepared porridge or müsli.
Their location is well situated for the Brecon Beacons National Park and the charming town of Hay on Wye.
The hosts have intimate knowledge about the local area, providing valuable information about what to do and where to eat out.
I would recommend them without reservations.
Richard and Ros were wonderful hosts. Their home was comfortable, and our room was cozy and quiet. Ros prepared a delicious breakfast which included her homemade jams. Her quince was yummy.
Richard and Ros live in a lovely area close to the Wye River. We took a long walk along the river before we continued our trip to Hay-on-Wye, a lovely town of bookshops about 15 mins away
. We highly recommend Richard and Ros if you're traveling in Wales.
We had a lovely weekend with Richard and Ros. They were fountains of knowledge about the local area (where to eat, what to do) and everything else! Fantastic cooked breakfast, very comfortable accommodation with lovely views and a friendly doggy!
We hope to stay with them again in the future!
Easy going couple. Living in beatiful mid-Wales. Winter just as pretty as summer here, great walking country. Into walking, cycling and blues and jazz and art. Not a creative but but a admirer of many art forms.
Happy to get involved with guests, recomending good of the tourist track walks and cool places to eat.
