The Space

Large two bedroom, two bathroom condo in the Benchlands of Whistler's Upper Village. Corner Unit, 1260 square feet, plus two patios and two ground level decks, one king bed, two twin beds (can be pushed together or kept apart), queen pull out sofa, insuite washer/dryer, underground secure parking for two cars, 5 minute walk to Blackcomb Mountain. Plasma tv with DVD player, and tv in Master Bedroom, seating for six in the dining room and on the deck, private bar b q, gas fireplace, wireless internet, and free local and long distance calls. Full size stainless steele appliances and outdoor hot tub and bar b q in the common area. . Some recent improvements have been done such as fresh paint, new flooring, granite in the kitchen and bathrooms, new sinks and taps.

Free shuttle bus to the village is right outside your door, or 10 minute walk to the Village. Minutes to the beautiful Chateau Fairmont Hotel with worldclass spa.
Walk in your ski boots to Blackcomb Ski Hill via a trail, or short free shuttle bus ride to the Blackcomb ski hill (stops right in front of the condo).

Rates may be higher than posted for long weekends.

Also available is a large four bedroom unit in the same Snowbird complex but only for the week of Feb. 23 to March 2, 2014. Sleeps 8-10 people. No singles under 25. Nightly rate is $450/night or $2800 for the whole week.

Guest Access

Guests have access to an ideal location which is almost ski in and ski out. They also have access to two secure underground parking stalls, and a public hot tub.

Interaction with Guests

This accommodation is self check in and self checkout. We will not be present during the guests stay, but are on hand to help if needed.

The Neighborhood

This is a high end neighbourhood with multi million dollar homes one block away. The proximity to Blackcomb Ski Hill and to the village make this the ideal location.

Getting around

A free shuttle bus stops directly in front of the condo complex every ten minutes. It takes passengers to the ski hill and the village.

  • We had an excellent stay at Gail's condo in Whistler! The location was great, the condo was beautiful, and Gail was very responsive to all of our questions. I plan to stay here again next year when we come visit Whistler!

  • My family of four (two teenage boys) had a fabulous stay here. The place was beautiful and spacious. The location was great. We usually walked everywhere but sometimes would drive into the village in the evenings or when we wanted to shop. I x-country ski and the proximity to the golf course from where I can get onto Lost Lake was also great and a very short walk.
    We were very comfortable and liked the decour of the home. We cooked a couple of times and went to the village for some great dinners too. The condo had everything we needed.
    Just before we arrived, I realized I couldn't find the e-mail from Gail, the host, with all the details for the condo (directions, how to enter, etc.). I e-mailed her asking her to re-send it and she was very responsive re-sending it immediately.

  • Perfect place walking distance to the slopes. We enjoyed our stay. Clean, comfortable, modern, and spacious. We didn't need much but this had everything we needed. Gail was super responsive. I would highly recommend this place. Also hot tub was large and easily accessible.

  • We stayed at Gail's condo for our Whistler ski trip. There was enough room for our party of 4 adults + 2 kids. The condo has definitely a classy touch with quality materials used for the furnishings. Well equipped, modern, comfortable. Way better then the 'usual' rentals.
    The bus services to Whistle centre run regularly and stop right in front of the condo. They are also so punctual that you want to be a minute ahead, because otherwise they are gone!
    But it really is no big deal to walk to the slopes or the village, just a matter of a couple of minutes, even with ski boots.
    Gail is a friendly, efficient host who replies quickly if you have a question. Overall an excellent stay!!

  • Wir hatten einen guten angenehmer Aufenthalt in Gails Haus. Ist nah bei den Pisten ( zwei Stationen mit Bus ) und das Haus ist in einer ruhigen Gegend nahe der Busstation.
    Was will man mehr. Danke für die tolle Zeit.

  • Gail's condo was perfect; well equipped, well located and very clean. I didn't want to leave. And Gail was easy to contact about details arriving and leaving though we had no issues during our stay.

    Even better, a metre of snow fell during the three days we were at Whistler! Couldn't have asked for more.

  • Very nice condo, cosy, losts of space for 5 people. The condo is well situated, close to the bus stop, the slops and rhe whistler village. I would recommend the place.
