A quiet private one-room, one-bath bungalow. It sits behind the main house but access is all private and separate. Step outside your French doors to your own outdoor patio area where most guests like to enjoy their morning coffee or evening glass of wine. Because San Diego weather is so nice, the outdoor area feels like an extended living/dining area. We are located in South Park village where many restaurants and shops and boutiques are located. An easy walk or bike ride to many sights.

House Rules

We hope our guests have a nice vacation in San Diego. We expect them to respect the privacy of our neighbors and other tenants. Please be quiet after 10pm.

This is a smoke-free property so smoking is not allowed anywhere on the premises.

Because we are walking distance to anything anyone would want, we hope they enjoy their time in San Diego and find the room a comfortable resting spot.

The room is not really amenable to children, but we do on occasion make exceptions, just ask. And, we already have a couple of dogs and a cat on the property, so we don't allow pets, but on occasion we do make exceptions, just ask.

If there is anything else you want to know, feel free to ask. We try to work with your needs.

Great spot with good food in walking distance and only a short drive to downtown. The hosts were great and very informative.

Amy was fantastic! Email with info leading up to stay. Greeted us. Helped us when we left my toiletry bag at the flat. Stay was excellent. Our accommodation had everything we needed. Thanks Amy!

We had a really great time at Amy's place! She was always worried with our staying. The place is so comfortable, clean and has everything you may need. There are some good restaurants nearby. We loved staying there and we definitely recommend!

Amy and Eber's place was really neat and had everything we needed for our stay. We loved the South Park neighborhood and managed to venture out to four of the local restaurants during our short stay and enjoyed all of them, as well as the walk around the neighborhood getting there and back. We also had the opportunity to both walk and cycle down to the Embarcadero Marina Park while we were there. In fact, our car sat parked in front of the house during our entire visit. It's a great location close to most anything you might want to do in San Diego.

Response from Amy & Eber:
Thank you Leslie! I am so glad you and Graham had such a wonderful stay here in South Park. We love it, and we are happy when others get to enjoy our 'hood too. It's a special place. Come back again! Maybe we'll run into on the bike trail someday. Amy

Staying at Amy and Eber's place made our short trip to San Diego truly exceptional. They were as accommodating as could be, and checking in and out was not at all a hassle. The plentiful parking and keyless entry were so convenient, and everything we could possibly need was provided, including beach towels! We will definitely be staying here again.

Amy and Eber's AirBnB was a great location on a quiet friendly street. Amy was incredibly helpful and flexible with checkin and also gave us a few really good suggestions where to eat. Thanks for having us!

We like fresh air and bike rides and hikes and trips to the farmer's market on our fat tire bicycle. Amy is an author and teacher. Eber is an engineer working in the high tech world. We travel to places where we can hike and ride our bikes, usually Italy or France. We love Latin America because Amy lived there as a kid. We like to be comfortable and have nice accommodations and hosts, good pillows and the like. Amy is also a savory pie baker, not so much the sweet pies, but she likes a good hearty comfort food pie. They somehow make everything in life better. We love having Airbnb guests enjoy our property and our quaint neighborhood because we believe it's the best neighborhood in San Diego if you want to really get to know Southern California culture.
