  • Sean was a very gracious host who made us feel right at home as soon as we arrived. He was very accommodating to our plans and schedules that we had for visiting the area. We also enjoyed the breakfast he cooked for us in the morning.

  • A very welcoming host that was waiting for us with a delicious paella. We had an amazing evening, talking as if we were long time friends, I highly recommend this place for its cleanliness, comfort and all the insider tips you will get about Napa. The next morning he prepared delicious waffles, so if you are into food this is the place to stay.

  • This was a lovely stay. The room is spacious, clean and met all of our needs. We had a large ensuite bathroom to ourselves and a lovely breakfast each morning. Sean is a charming host, and we were fortunate to meet some of his local friends over a terrific dinner.

We would recommend staying here to our friends and would happily return.

  • We had a great time. Sean was very welcoming and wanted to make sure everything was perfect for our stay.

  • We were there for 3 nights. Very nice location. Good district. Great house, bedroom is just as spacious as shown on the pictures and the bathroom has everything you need. Plenty of space.
Sean is a very very generous host. Attentive but not intrusive. He prepares very good waffles with crème fraîche and fresh fruits. We had a real good time talking, eating, drinking wine and listening to good music. We left feeling like we had just stayed with a friend. We missed the monthly "event" he hosts about once a month and we are soooo sorry about that. He also knows the region well and gives good advice on what to visit and do. We would go back without hesitation. Thank you Sean.

  • For our first airbnb experience, the "private room" option went better than expected (we were a little apprehensive). Sean made us feel instantly comfortable, like an old friend would, and gave us plenty of space upon arrival. (We were a little crabby from our long day of travel and immediately needed a nap and then flew out to dinner.) Breakfast in the morning was a great touch. There's something about having someone make breakfast for you that helps to start your day out right! Sean's house was very close to downtown Napa and also within a short 10 minute drive of a few wineries as well.

  • A shared house, you get your own bedroom and bathroom, we thought it would be located among wineries, but it was just a suburban house. Lucky we had a hire car, otherwise it would be difficult to go anywhere. Host does his best to make you feel comfortable, and likes to spend one night with you and a few friends around the fire, drinking wine and having a home cooked meal. If you're traveling without a car, I would recommend staying in Yountville, a quaint town, walking distance to wine tastings and good food.

  • My wife and I took a trip to Napa for her 30th birthday. We had an awesome time and much of it was thanks to Sean. He has lots of great local knowledge, especially about restaurants and getting reservations (not to mention his great waffle breakfasts). John who also lives at the house was also a great resource for wine and winery knowledge. We're cyclists and we brought our bikes. If you want to ride a bike in Napa, Sean's place is ideally located near a few of the major bike routes and is bikeable to and from from the downtown area. If you're considering a Napa stay definitely consider Sean's place. He's a great host and we'll definitely stay again next time we're in Napa.

  • Sean is a lovely host. We felt comfortable leaving our personal belongings while we were away during the day at different winers. He greeted us each morning with breakfast of freshly made waffles, fresh fruit, creme fraiche, coffee, tea, etc. It was a greaty way to start the day. The house is a short ride to downtown Napa. He also helped us with restaurant recommendations for our first night. I am bummed out I did not get to try his foodie event but maybe next time. Sean is very interested in how to make experience better for his guests. By the end of trip it almost felt like we were staying at a friends now - pretty cool.

  • We had a fantastic stay with Sean to celebrate our anniversary. He is an incredibly generous host who is willing to leave you to your space but is also gregarious and happy to socialize with you and include you as much as you like. Our first night we went into town for dinner and mostly kept to ourselves, but our second night we all shared food and wine and had a lovely evening drinking and talking. We were not there for one of his food events but will definitely go back for one. The room was exactly as it looks - a private space with a bathroom en suite and private access to the backyard. He was also happy to find room indoors for our bicycles. Highly recommended.
