The best air bnb experience I've ever had! Oh my gosh was this the coolest spot to stay in arenal. Beautiful on the inside and very clean. Wonderful staff and close to a lot of beautiful things! Will def stay again.

This "hostel" is closer to a hotel than a backpackers hideaway. They have a couple locations in La Fortuna (the other is one block away) and more around the country, so everything is well managed. We only stayed for one night (double room w/ AC), but very much enjoyed chilling in the common area hammocks, and the easy availability of breakfast made our trip run that much smoother. The location is as central to town as you can get. As everyone else has said, hot water in the showers is hit or miss, but this was consistent with just about every other place we stayed in Costa Rica. Cherry on top: We needed a place to keep our car after check-out while we did all-day excursions; Arensal Hostel Resort let us keep our parking pass and remain parked in their fenced lot for the entire day, which was a load of stress off our shoulders. We would certainly stay there again.

Great place to stay in La Fortuna. Location is very central, but quiet. The place was nicely kept and clean. Very friendly staff. The middle common area had a fun bar with a pool/wetbar, hammocks, and tables for relaxing. The room was spacious, has great AC, and beds were comfy. The buffet breakfast was good.. nothing special, but tasty. I'd definitely stay at this place again and recommend it to anyone.

We had a wonderful stay. Your facilities are superb! Your staff is super helpful and seemed happy to answer any questions we had. Also the restaurant where you provide a discounted breakfast was fantastic. We will certainly be back!

Hot water and towels were not provided. If you like a hot shower in the morning then you might want to go elsewhere.

Good budget friendly option. Watch out for the bathroom- it's swing doors so basically open between bathroom and bedroom- very little privacy. Also, the hostel people were very pushy with excursions.

Good central position, spacious rooms, and having kitchen facilities meant we could make tea at anytime. Perfect!

Thanks, The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming to all travelers - young and, ahem, middle-aged. The festive grounds are full of palapas, hammocks, and a bar with a swim-up pool, had a terrific view of the Arenal Volcano!
