I am a single woman, I live alone and I work as a screenwriter and movie-director. I have a modern stile of life and am used to share apartments since a long time. I met some of my dearest friends as guests in my house. I welcome my guests amicably and I enjoy if they feel at home
Being a professional screenwriter, I usually work at home. However it can happen that I leave Rome for short periods for business meetings. In this case, my sister Maria Pia will welcome you. She will live in my house and will take care of you. She speaks just a basic English, but she is very kind and caring. Anyway I will be always in touch with you if you like or need it.
When I am at home, I am at your disposal if you need useful info or if you have to solve small domestic problems.
I was also a Art History teacher and I have a touristic guide license, so, please, feel free to ask if you need help in planning your city tours, or in discovering the most secret Roman spots.
As I told you already, I'll be glad to have a dinner together and let you know some secrets of Italian cooking.
In the same time, you can be sure that I will always respect your privacy.
In the immediate neighborhood of my home you can visit Villa Ada, which is a huge, splendid park, and great monuments as the medieval church of Sant’Agnese, the Mausoleum of Costanza and the catacombs of Priscilla, with rare examples of ancient Roman paintings. To the guests who will stay for at least a week, I will offer A FREE GUIDED TOUR to these marvelous sites.

Angiola is the perfect host for a trip to Rome. She´s really nice, friendly, openminded and helps you with every question you have. The room was wonderful with a balcony and it takes you only 10 minutes to Colosseum by metro. For us, it was the perfect place to stay during our holidays. We got a nice breakfast every morning, everything was clean and nice and we felt like home in Angiolas house.
We would recommend this place for everybody, who would like to have a relaxing time to stay.
Angiola was a great host during our trip to Rome. We turned up earlier than expected with no way of contacting her and she was very accommodating. She made us espresso and showed us a good route to take around Rome. We weren't around the apartment very much because we only had two days. It helped to come back to a warm, comfortable room and bed each night. Room was clean and spacious and had a nice little balcony where we enjoyed a drink our last night.
very adorable stay. the house is warm and the transportation is quite convenient . Very near to the metro. Angiola is very nice and gave us suggestion for more place to see. Thx , Angiola, when we come to Rome next time,we would certainly try to see you again!
WE REALLY THOUGHT THIS PLACE WAS A BED AND BREAKFAST. THE EXPERIENCE SHARING THE APARTMENT WITH THE OWNER'S FAMILY MEMBER WAS TERRIBLE. A LOT OF SCREAMING, WE DID NOT KNOW WHAT WAS REALLY HAPPENING.
I certainly enjoyed my stay with Angiola Janigro, and spent a very pleasant two weeks in her flat. The room was large and light, and the bed comfortable. The area in which the flat is situated is a bit outside the very centre of Rome, but has excellent public transport links by bus and by metro, which means that one can easily and quite quickly get to the main tourist areas. Angiola was a welcoming and thoughtful hostess/landlady, and very helpful in providing information about how to get around in Rome and indeed on other matters as well. Breakfast was provided and was perfectly adequate. I could have used the kitchen to cook for myself, but chose not to avail myself of this opportunity. I would certainly recommend this accommodation to anyone who wishes to spend some time in Rome and does not wish or need to stay directly in the heart of the tourist area.
I was meant to go on this trip with my boyfriend, but he sadly had to cancel last minute because of his job. A little nervous about traveling to Italy alone, Angiola made me feel extra welcomed and was very helpful! She's just such a warm, lovely person and the room I stayed in was so perfect. I had my own balcony, and a great wooden desk that I wish I could've bought from her to take back to England.
Angiola went above and beyond being helpful with giving me suggestions where to go, what to see, and even made breakfast for me each morning.
Will be staying with her when I return to Rome - hopefully not alone next time! :)
We had a great time at Angela's and she made us feel very welcome. Stayed in a large room, got a big breakfast every morning and it was easy to have interesting conversations with Angela, who speaks perfect English. Next time in Rome we hope she has a room available for us again!
This room is big and full of light. I was alone, but easily 3 people can live there. You will have keys from all the doors,so can lock your room. Bathroom (which you share with Angola and her brother) is very modern. Every morning Angola serve breakfast: flakes, yogurt, bread, milk, jams, coffee and tea. You can have breakfast with other people or ask to have it on the balcony more private. Angiola was always very friendly and kind, if she isn't at home her brother will help you.
This is very nice area , with lots of shops near. From house to metro station is about 3-4 minutes. But be careful with train destinations when you come back. Near the metro there are also bus stops.
I was glad to spent a week in such a calm atmosphere.
we had a very nice time together with angiola in her beautyful house.
she's a nice, kind and patient host, and the room we stayed is a comfortable location in a large apartment with everything we needed, included a very nice breakfast, and it remains in a good location, near metro and bus stop. higly reccomended.
The room is spacious and clean, the forniture is a little bit old.
Angiola is a nice and kind host. At the morning she prepares breakfast for her guests.
The apartment is located a few minutes from the metro station Libia and in 10 minutes you can reach the city center.
This is the final rate, including any fees from the host and Airbnb.
