The Space

I'M GLAD TO OFFER YOU THE CONFORT OF A HOTEL, THE WARMTH OF A HOME, A WINDOW ON ITALIAN WAY OF LIFE.

THE ROOM, which comfortably fits 3, is huge, quiet and bright. IT HAS A LARGE AND SUNNY BALCONY, with an open view, where you can sit and reading, drinking a glass of wine or, if you like, enjoy the breakfast or a romantic dinner.

You can have an extra bed for children.

SPECIAL OFFER FOR CHILDREN

Guest Access

You have access to the kitchen for a rich continental breakfast in the morning (from 8am to 10am) and for light meals in the evening (from 5pm to 8pm).

You can also have access to my library, where you can find touristic guides, art books, novels etc.

Interaction with Guests

I am a single woman and I work as a screenwriter and movie-director. I have a modern stile of life and am used to share apartments since a long time. I met some of my dearest friends as guests in my house. I welcome my guests amicably and I enjoy if they feel at home

Being a professional screenwriter, I usually work at home. However it can happen that I leave Rome for short periods for business meetings. In this case, my sister Maria Pia will welcome you. She will live in my house and will take care of you. She speaks just a basic English, but she is very kind and caring. Anyway I will be always in touch with you if you like or need it.

When I am at home, I am at your disposal if you need useful info or if you have to solve small domestic problems.

I was also a Art History teacher and I (email hidden) license, so, please, feel free to ask if you need HELP IN PLANNING YOUR CITY TOURS, or in discovering the most secret Roman spots.

If you stay more than 4 nights, and you like the idea, I WILL PREPARE FOR YOU A TRADITIONAL ITALIAN DISCH, teaching to you how you can prepare home made pasta. Have a dinner together will help us to know each other better.

In the same time, you can be sure that I will always respect your privacy.

The Neighborhood

In the immediate neighborhood of my home you can visit VILLA ADA, which is a huge, splendid park, and great monuments as the medieval SANT'AGNESE CHURCH, the MAUSOLEUM OF COSTANZA and the CATACOMBS OF PRISCILLA, with rare examples of ancient Roman paintings. To the guests who will stay for at least a week, I will offer A FREE GUIDED TOUR to these marvelous sites.

Excellent restaurants, pizzerias, pubs, cafes, cinemas, are waiting for you in the evening, at a walking distance. If you like to cook in my kitchen, you can find, nearby, many supermarkets, a huge fresh food market and many other grocery shops.

If you like to go shopping, in Viale Libia you can find any sort of shops and elegant boutique.

  • Angiola was really helpful and friendly and the apartment was located really close to the metro.

  • Apartment is in a good neighbourhood, close to the metro station. Angiola was a really friendly host. She had left a file in our room, which listed neighbouring restaurants, pubs, super markets etc, which was really helpful. Also she suggested us the best way to the airport at the end of our stay and even arranged an early breakfast.
Room was as exactly shown in the pics, with a nice balcony. We really enjoyed our stay. Would definitely stay here again the next time we are in Rome.

  • I loved Angiola's sweet place in Rome. This is my favorite room in her house. It was a great location, lovely retreat and Angiola was helpful and available ! I will stay there again and highly recommend .

  • Angiola (email hidden)e met me at the Metro stop and escorted me to her home. The room was large and clean and comfortable. She made me a cup of coffee while we chatted about the neighborhood, the Arts, politics. She told me where to eat, where to get coffee and about the sights I should not miss while at her apartment. I was only there for one night, (and what a night, thunder and lightning that seemed right out of Act Three of "Julius Caesar"!) and was delighted with the balcony, the room, and the other travelers I met briefly while I was with Angiola. I recommend her apartment to anyone who wants to spend a brief or a long time in Rome and does not want to be in the center of the city.

  • Loved everything at Angiola's apartment. Cosy, warm and lively! It was such a pleasant stay!
The location is great, easy to get to many attractions. Quiet neighbourhood with friendly locals and delicious restaurants.
Angiola has been so kind and sweet to us during our stay. We would definitely recommend her place to anyone who wishes to visit Rome and meet people from different countries (in our case Belgium, USA and Singapore).

  • It's an amazing travel! Angiola is a very kind host. We got much information from her and a very delicious breakfast. The room is clean and big.

    June 2014
  • Angiola is very kind, helpful, understanding ! No trouble or problems with anything !
It's an older apt., so the appliances, shower etc are not modern ! But it is close to Metro, has washer, kitchen facilities. I'd recommend staying here.

  • We enjoyed our stay. It is close to the subway stop. Angioplasty recommended things to do and a great Chinese restaurant for dinner.

About
I am a single woman who works as a scriptwriter and movie director. I also have been for years an Art History teacher in public high schools. Recently I’ve (email hidden) licence too, so I can help guests to discover the Roman most secret beauties. Memories are important to me but my mind and my eyes are focused on our world's future, and I suppose that's why I seem... or at least I feel... younger than I am. I am used to share apartments since I was young, being very respectful of people living with me and doing my best to let them feel at home. I have to say that a lovely way of travelling to me is to meet people coming from different countries and different cultures… while I'm resting on my own divan! Because I'm quite afraid to fly but I do love differences.
