The space

Frascati is a very nice historical town 20 km from Rome city and 10 km from Ciampino Airport. With its wonderful hills and lake surroundings, its perfect climate and very famous food and wine it's the perfect place where to stay while visiting the City!

The apartment is in the centre of Frascati, 5 minutes walking from the city main railways and bus station.
It is at the ground floor with terrace and garden in a 19th century wonderful building – its huge spaces are characteristics: it was an historical Hotel, national hero Giuseppe Garibaldi spent some time here too!

Just renewed and fully furnished.
The apartment is composed of 1 very big living room (40 m2), with cooking corner and a double sofa bed, 1 great bedroom (25 m2) with king size bed and wardrobe, 1 huge bathroom (20 m2) with shower and bath tube and finally 1 spacious corridor with a large bookshelf. Perfectly working washing machine, fridge and freezer available.

Outdoor premises.
Terrace (200 m2) and garden (300 m2) accessible from both living room and bedroom. Use is shared with a twin apartment already rent, but you will have your own privacy and you will be allowed to keep pets. Your apartment is completely independent from the other, you will just share the garden!

No WiFi.

House Rules

- We have two identical apartments and sometimes they are both rented or however occupied. Therefore we expect you to share common spaces (terrace and garden) with other people and have a nice stay.

- The apartment is in a building with many families, therefore, it is kind not to do too much noise during evening/night hours and after lunch, during week end time

- Most important: we have always taken care of the house (my grandparents' and my mother grandparents' house). We ask you to respect this place, the garden and the antique furniture
If you smoke or eat outside, please don't leave any rubbish.

- The heating is independent. We know winter times are quite cold, but please it is also very expensive, so be reasonable in using it, not during the whole day.

- Washing machines and other facilities are free too. Please use them with moderation.

We trust people, we run a very nice b&b years ago in Rome, and we had great experiences most of the times: we just want to welcome you and say goodbye with the same smile. So please, feel free to ask any question and suggest any improvement!

A wonderful apartment in an historic building. Easy walk to the train station, a 24-hour supermarket and all the shops and restaurants of Frascati. There is a lush and peaceful private terrace and garden. You are certain to enjoy your stay, and the friendly and helpful hosts, Fiammetta and Giulia

Great location within Frascati; lovely house, a very Italian villa experience. Great garden. Apartment spacious, comfy bed, good shower. If you arrive during colder months ask for the heating to be turned on before arrival, as it takes a while to warm up. We spent a month here and felt very at home!

This apartment gives you a charming, rustic and very authentic old world Italy experience! We cancelled a 5 star hotel in Rome and stayed in Frascati during the worst week of the October earthquakes and boy was it a great move. Whilst we never actually met the host face to face (due only to her having a broken leg poor lady!) her Mum did a great job of seeing us in. The host was VERY good at communicating with us both before and during our stay - very reassuring! The best thing is the location - 3-5 mins up hill to the town and 3-5 mins downhill to the train station (only 30 mins with 2 quick stops and you are in Rome!) Fantastic stay - huge thanks to the hosts, especially as I booked the day before flying out! Clean, tidy but very homely.

This is the 2nd time I have stayed at Fiammetta's apartment. I have never been disappointed. Fia and her mother are both responsive and helpful. The apartment is roomy and very comfortable. The gardens are serene. And the location is so very convenient to the train station for trips anywhere. You can walk 5 minutes and be at the town square, shopping, groceries, and that daily gelato. This is the ideal apartment location in Frascati.

The experience was great. From the start, Fiametta's family made us welcome. Her brother contacted us a few days advance to arrange the hand-over of the keys; her mother helped us settling in and explained a few bits about the history of the building: It was an old grand hotel that has since been converted into apartments. The flat itself is traditional, spacious and nice. It has a north facing garden which in the summer provides a cool place to sit outside. There are patches where you can soak up the sun too. The library has some real gems if you are interested in catching up with your reading and throughout the apartments there are nice objects and prints enhancing the overall atmosphere. We were a bit concerned there was no airconditioning during our stay in the summer. However, the height of the ceilings meant that air circulation was great and these prove to be unfounded. Because the apartment is so traditional this may not be your cup of tea if you desire all modern conveniences. The bath, shower and fridge are all in perfect working order but the decor is not your typical modern interior. The pictures are a fair reflection how the apartment is. The location is perfect. You are very close to Frascati's 'passagiato' and central squares whilst only 5mins away from the trains to Rome Termini.

We enjoyed our stay at Fiammetta's. The apartment is full of character and in a good location, very close to the train station and the wonderful town of Frascati. Fiammeta was easy to communicate with and prompt in replying to our queries.
