David's place was everything we hoped for and exactly as promised. We enjoyed great communal meals in the garden and shared stories over the fire pit. Each room was well prepared and comfortable. I highly recommend this place for any sort of retreat.
Upon leaving, my friend locked his Kindle in the house and David was extremely helpful in retrieving it.
We really enjoyed staying at David's house in San Rafael. It is really comfortable, well-equipped, and aptly described as a charming, peaceful, garden retreat. Dave was a super host. He always responded promptly to any queries we had before we arrived, and provided the most detailed and thorough handbook of any Air B&B accommodation I have ever seen. We had a great stay and are looking forward to staying at this lovely, very special home again whenever we are in the area. Thanks Dave!
We came up to Marin County for a wedding and picked this house to use as our home-base during all the wedding festivities. We absolutely loved our stay here and would love to come back and stay again! David was great, we left like he truly cared about making sure we enjoyed our stay. The beds were comfy, almost everything you need is provided and the backyard is the perfect place to relax with a cup of coffee in the morning and a glass of wine at night.
David's place was great for our stay. We found everything wonderfully prepared, and had a great time eating dinner on the back patio.
This was our third stay in David's house, and as with the other times, our stay was wonderful. David's house is very well equipped, beautifully furnished, and very comfortable. The patio out back is excellent. We will be staying in David's house again, hopefully many times.
David's house was cozy, quiet, and warm. From well-appointed bedrooms with comfortable beds to an open living room to relax in to a great little office where we could get some work done, it had everything we needed and was the perfect haven to come back to at the end of the day. Our only regret was that we didn't get to use the amazing backyard and outdoor tables because it rained the entire duration of our trip! David checked in to see if we needed anything during our stay, which was very nice. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Marin.
Relaxing... backyard was our favorite for our breakfast in the morning. Kitchen had everything we need. Thank you so much.. we would love to go back there in the future.
My boyfriend and I wanted a "staycation" and David's place was perfect. Quiet, charming and so cozy. David was sweet and available when we needed something. We did not want to leave! The garden is dreamy and perfect for eating, reading and reconnecting. I highly suggest this lovely place for a visit. Thanks again David!
We loved staying at David's during our wedding weekend in Marin. It was the perfect peaceful retreat like home. We loved having coffee and meals out on the patio. Highly recommended!
The home is airy, cozy & very thoughtful. David the owner, although we didn't meet in person was available, accommodating, and accountable. If I am ever able I would like to stay in this charming
place again. Thank you, Caryn
