Other than that, I'll set you up, and you should be set to explore the city on your own accord. My roommates are always really nice too :)

This is your home away from home, welcome! From my experience, if we all follow these simple rules, everyone will have a wonderful stay :)
Thanks for hosting us so uncomplicated! We really liked your friendly hospitality, helping us with luggage and providing us good recomendations (bars, neighborhood etc.). Benjamin hosted us in a room for a really good price for New York. If you're comfortable with not living downtown on a low budged this hostel-like accomodation is quite good for you. Benjamin and his girlfriend were very friendly and helpful with fixing weired heating issues (heating was always on, but they put on ventilators in each room to cool it on an acceptable temperature) and tidyed up once during our stay as not every guest sticked to the house rules (cleaning up toilet and bathtub by your own).
Great stay in Benjamin's house, he is a very nice guy, and the location is good too. Thanks and hope to see you in China!
This was a great 1st airbnb experience for me. My flight was delayed several times, but he was very understanding and worked with my changing arrival time. Also, this is located really close to a quick subway ride into the city. Also, the apartment/room were clean and comfortable. Overall, a great stay!
Such an awesome stay! Had no problem finding the apartment and so close to the subway. Benjamin was a great host very helpful with any questions I had as well as recommending some great food spots around the area. I will definitely be returning on my next stay in NY/Brooklyn
The place was great, excellent location near to the metro line, shops and useful services like laundry cleaners.
Quiet at night and a good private space to sleep, and a nice living room where you can have some talk with people that are staying at the place.
Benjamin is a great guy he responded my messages and concerns right away, and he had time to show me a part of the neighborhood and give me useful tips.
Staying at benjamin's was great! Great location, great room, great roommates :)! Thanks for everything!
We loved sitting around the kitchen table talking to the other guys who were staying in the apartment as well. We felt instantly at home. The apartment is extremely well located to the Q line which will get you to downtown within just 20 mins and the subway is just a 2 min walk from the apartment. On the way to the subway is a convenient laundromat which will clean and fold everything for you very cheaply (plus their ATM only charges $0.99 which is cheap for New York). The apartment is well set up, you'll get your own designated shelves in the cupboard and fridge and you'll have a security code on your door. Our room faced directly towards the street and sometimes it was a bit noisy, which can be expected when you're in the middle of a neighbourhood, but we are easy sleepers and didn't mind at all. :-)

I am a musician and composer just trying to get by in these crazy times. I love to host people from all around the world and have had overwhelmingly positive experiences the majority of the time. I do my best to make sure everyone has a wonderful stay, and hope you will respect my home as if it were your own. I look forward to sharing my space with you, if you want to win me over... some chocolate from your native land is a good place to start! :D
