  • We had a great stay! The apartment provides sufficient privacy and also room to interact with your roommates if you wish : ) It never took us more than 20 minutes to get to Manhattan and also within the area we found everything we needed... Prospect Park is beautiful!! The room was pretty cold at night but with a second blanket we stayed warm... when the shower drain didn't work one morning it was fixed immediately which was great! Benjamin is an organized and professional host : )

  • Benjamin was an awesome host. He is a super friendly and exciting person and was always a blast to be around. Benjamin cared a lot for my well being by making sure things were running smoothly around the house. From cleaning equipment to towels/bed sheets among other things, there was never a point that I felt I was "missing" anything; he took extra care to make sure I was comfortable and content! Overall great experience, I would love to return here.

  • My stay at Benjamin's place was great. Benjamin was friendly and helpful and the room was cumfy and clean. Quick and easy access to the train into the city and access to trains and busses that take you throughout brooklyn. Will definitely stay again. For the price its great.

  • Staying at this location was one of my best decisions I ever made in NYC. Benjamin always made sure everyone including myself was comfortable, we always racks of shampoo, body wash, clean towels, toilet paper, you name it. The best part about this place too was the buzzer - ordering food or inviting guests over had never been easier (especially since we live on the second floor) also! living across the street from Prospect Park/the Q train stop/Subway Sandwiches.
During my stay the place was under renovation - Benjamin added new dressers in our rooms, new beds, new mirrors, and an ENTIRE new Living room - That's right! It definitely looks badass with the maison jar chandelier hanging above a wooden table where you could sit down and enjoy some internet time.
OH by the way- The internet here is blazing fast, it's sweet.

Anyways, I could go on and on about how great this place is and how good of a host Benjamin is, but I have a few characters left to type in this comment box. You should definitely stay here, just say my name and you'll get a discount (Just kidding, no). Enjoy!

  • Ben is a super guy, always ready to step up when needed, not after 5 minutes but directly. With the help of his buddy Raymond and the landlord who is on personal friendly terms with Ben (important), he manages to be a perfect host.
When staying at the Woodruff place, do not expect luxury, but a perfect place to stay for a limited budget, with an ideal connection to Manhattan (25-30 minutes to the main subway stations). I stayed at the place for 2 months, had a ball, never lost a minute of sleep to anything and was hardly ever alone when I didn't want to be. Neighborhood looks rough and lively, but I experienced it as friendly, save and easy.

  • Benjamin was a very cool dude! I enjoyed meeting him and sharing interesting conversation with him about the world and how we can each make it a better place. The apartment was great. I found it clean and conveniently located. Perfect for someone who is planning on spending most of their time out and about in the city, who wants to get the most of a great deal! I can't wait to see Ben again for more good times.

  • I booked a room with Ben pretty last minute but he responded promptly and my stay could not have worked out better. He was very hospitable and met me in person the day in checked in. Any questions I had about the room or the Brooklyn and city area he had an answer for, very helpful :) thanks again Ben.

  • Apartment is still a little bit "work in progress". Ben is friendly and welcoming. Good subway connection to Manhattan. Will be a great hostel soon.
