You have traveled, you have explored. You have stayed in many places! Now its time to stay in one of the coolest locations you never knew existed. Stay in the top of a Silo!

The Silo was finished in Nov 2018.

We’ve been renovating this old 1950’s dairy barn/silo since 2013. The Silo has 4 floors and the top 2 are yours! There is a living room on the third floor (and bathroom) and bedroom at the very top with windows all around and 360 degree view ! Also your own private deck off the bedroom.

The space
We bought and have been renovating an old dairy barn since 2013. We had a goal to renovate the attached silo into a beautiful place guests could come and enjoy.

The silo itself is 4 stories. The top two floors are your living spaces. A living room and private bathroom with a bedroom on top. The rooms are circular, the original shape of the silo. The bedroom has windows that go all the way around the top for a stunning 360 degree view of the mountains and valley. It is an experience you will never forget!

We have also created a little game for our Silo guests! Upon arrival we will give you clues to a secret compartment in the Silo. My husband is a master cabinet maker and creates the most unique secret compartments. When you discover it , there is a special gift for you to take home!!

The Silo is for 2 guests ONLY .
No children under 12 years of age.

Our son documented the renovations of the Silo so if you are interested you can see the 10 videos of this amazing renovation on utube. (search for Dream Rock Silo)

Breakfast is not included, however, there is a screened- in full kitchen for you to use anytime. This is a shared space.

***The outdoor kitchen is closed Nov-April due to weather conditions but there are restaurants in town.

NOTE: This is a tall Silo. There are 15 steps to the entrance ( living area) and 12 more interior steps to the bedroom.

***We also have 2 other Suites available:
Creekside Bungalow,sleeps 4
Rustic Rooster Room, sleeps 6

Guest access
Guests can access the garden, beautiful grounds and creek. Fresh eggs when chickens are laying.

Other things to note
We have 2 very friendly dogs ( a husky and a German Shepherd puppy) and 6 cats that absolutely love having guest. Also a coop full of chickens. We also have Silky chickens, these are the ones that are fluffy on their feet and heads. So Cute!

Cell phone service is minimal here as we are in the valley of the mountains. Verizon and U.S. Cellular do work. However there is wifi that works in proximity to the house.

There is a grocery store 10 minutes from us.

There is no A/C unit as the temperature is very mild. There is a heater and fan in the Silo if needed.

When you enter property, you will drive through the creek(no worries) it’s shallow.

PHOTO SESSIONS:
Our son(Will) is a photographer/videographer lives on the property and is available for 1 hour photo shoots. He is very artistic and uses the beautiful landscaping to produce amazing photos. Hourly pricing upon request.

If you are celebrating a special occasion , please let me know. I will be glad to help with special arrangements or surprises.

My husband, Bill and I have brought this barn and Silo back to life and have just had a blast creating it! I’ve done the interior design work on our barn... and the actual work(like painting, tile, etc.). In fact, my husband, son and I have done most of the work on our barn and I love showing it off. I love my chickens and in the summer, spend most of my time in my gardens or creating my rock walls. We enjoy our place so much and the only thing that makes it better is to share it with others. Please come join us in our little paradise!
