About This Listing
Our apartment is located in the heart of the city, so if you have just a short time in Palermo will be super easy to see all main point of interest of the city, and stay relaxing admiring a beautiful view from our panoramic terrace
New and centrally located penthouse apartment in Palermo (150 m2 on two floors). We have 3 spacious, bright and comfortable rooms and three bathrooms. Each room has its own bathroom (one bathroom is ensuite and the others are in front of the room but also private), TV, air conditioning and wi-fi connection. There is a large terrace on the top floor from which you can admire the city and its monuments. The kitchen is open for common use and is fully equipped with an electric oven, fridge, freezer, and an espresso machine.
Other rooms in the same apartment:
It's really important to me that guests feel at home, so ( as at their own home) they can use everything: kitchen, oven, refrigerator, pan, coffee machine, boiler.
Also the apartment has a really nice and panoramic terrace, that you can use, where you can relax, get some sunshine, admiring the amazing view of the city.
Also each room has wi-fi connection, private bathroom, air conditioning and some book (in english or in german).
To be respectful of no smoking guests it is not allowed to smoke in the room and in the kitchen but it is allowed to smoke in the terrace.
Interaction with Guests
I live in the apartment so I have flexible ceck in and ceck out time!
When you will arrive I will be at home to give you the keys of the apartment and of your room, also I will give you a small map of the city, and if you want i will give you some tips about the city (where you can eat for a cheap price, main street market and main monument you can visit in the city center)!
Our apartment is in the heart of the old part of the city, that's the reason because I always suggest to visit the city by foot. In 5 minutes by foot you can walk through the street market of Ballarò, (that is one of the ancient e and biggest markets of the city) and see his gorges colors, you can reach the nice boulevard of the port (I love to see the sunrise there!); you also should see Botanic Garden (12 minute walking), and Piazza Marina where is the the oldest and biggest Ficus three of Italy; you can also visit the gourges fountain of Piazza Pretoria (Fontana Pretoria o della Vergogna). In a walking distance I think you should see Palatin chapel (that is inside Royal Palace) with its very bright mosaics; or if you like horror and weird stuff you will appreciate the Catacomb of Cappuccini.
Also city center is famous for street food, you can have a big Arancina at bar Touring (close to the port) or eat a delicious "panino panelle e crocchè" ( a typical sandwich) at the hosteria " nni Franco u vastiddaro" for a really cheap price.
You can also have a typical lunch at Zia Pina where you can choose your fish and they will cook it for you!
But if you are tired, if you'd like, on request, I can prepare dinner for you and you can have dinner in the terrace!
The apartment is located near Piazza Julio Cesare, the central train station and bus terminal in Palermo, which is connected to all the main streets of the city, but with train or busses you can also easily reach some small nice town close to Palermo as Cefalù (that's my favorite!), a small meddle age city on the beach that you can reach in 50 minute with train.
Getting to the airport Falcone e Borsellino reach the apartment is very simple.
If you don't have car:
There are 3 solutions
1) Take a taxi cost is around 40 euros
2) Take the train from the airport (Punta Raisi) to the central station (Piazza Giulio Cesare) the cost is 5.8 euros
3) Take a bus from the airport arrives in Piazza Giulio Cesare the cost is about EUR 6
Once you arrive in Piazza Giulio Cesare can reach the apartment on foot is about 6 minutes.
If you have a car:

Other Things to Note
Price is including breakfast, I love baking (my dream is to be a chef!) so you will always find fresh and homemade cake, pie and bred, also croissant, yogurt, cereals, muesly, jam, fresh fruits, coffee, milk, tea, butter.
For late arrival, I may serve a simple dinner upon request from you by email in advance (price 15 euro per person)
To be respectful of other guests in the apartment. To leave in order the kitchen if you want to use it for lunch or dinner. If you fall into the night trying not to mess that up. They are simple rules that will make your stay and that of others guests more enjoyable!
Noemi and Marco were such amazing hosts. We arrived early because of our flight and they were very welcoming, inviting us to have breakfast while the room was in the midst of being ready.
They were always ready to give us advise on what to see around the city and where best to visit outside of Palermo. We had an amazing time, the room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was always amazing, with Noemi baked treats. We had a lovely time and hope to be back one day :)
I stayed at Noemi's for a month while I did a rotation at a nearby hospital. It was the perfect place for me. She and her boyfriend Marco are extremely helpful and welcoming.
On my first day there, she sat down with me and gave me a basic layout of the city and what things I should be sure to see and do during my stay. Then, throughout the whole time that I was there, she made recommendations whenever I asked - my favorite restaurants in the city were places she suggested that I would not have found on my own. She also helped me out when I needed to make travel arrangements or get tickets for things.
Marco has excellent internet up and running in the apartment, and when I got there and realized my Macbook charger was not compatible with adapter, he let me borrow his charger and then later bought a new adapter for me to you.
The apartment itself is lovely. My favorite part was the kitchen that everyone is welcome to use and the beautiful rooftop patio.
The cherry on top is that Noemi loves to bake and prepares a wonderful breakfast. My favorite was her white chocolate mousse cake!
What a wonderful host, Noemi & Marco are truly nice people. Perfect, quiet room with terrific location 5 minutes from main central train/bus station allowing day trips to nearby charming towns/villages. Gorgeous city views from the roof terrace, access from the kitchen is great. Noemi is a great cook also, baking terrific cakes & strawberry tarts during my stay & Marco always made sure I had my coffee and yoghurt in the morning. Truly a wonderful experience, AirBNB is the future, (website hidden) & pcln & travelocity are the past. My stay in Sicily was perfect & their advice as well as tips on the local spots to enjoy are one of the reasons why. Highly recommend, one of my best experiences on airbnb. Will probably return next year with a friend if room is available. Mille grazie Noemi & Marco, Ciao!
Noemi was great he gave me advice about the neighbourhood and let me use the kitchen to cook . You can use the washing machine. Great location _close to the train terminal. Noemi is a real sweetheart.
I really enjoyed staying at noemi s bed and breakfast because she is the best host I have had stayed!! She even baked me some pies and made sure everything was ok!! The location is very good and the rooms are clean and the view from the terrace is great!! I recommend this place!!
Noemi is very welcoming. She met my fiance and I at the door and gave us a tour of the place, brought us up to the patio, and then gave us a thorough overview of Palermo and where we should go. She made a great breakfast every morning and we ended up spending time just chatting with her. Her apartment is well located to tour all the major sites in the old city. I would absolutely stay there again if I'm back in Palermo.
Noemi was such a lovely and warmhearted host!
She always made sure that her guests were feeling good, was positive and outgoing and a very friendly person!
Her flat was absolutely clean and nicely decorated, and the rooftop terrace was just great to finish off a day in Palermo.
She knows the city very well and was always quick in helping or giving advice, knowing many details, from food to traffic.
Her breakfast was lovely and she presented her guests with homemade treats and sweets - such a great start into the day!
My room was quiet, I had the windows closed and I did not hear any of the noise and bustle of the streets downstairs.
Thanks again, Noemi and Marco!!
