Extremely well appointed, full of light, and with beautiful park views. Located 1 block from golden gate park, whole foods, great coffee shops & restaurants, public transportation and 2 blocks from the Haight Ashbury shopping area.
This is 1 bedroom in a 2 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment. The other bedroom will be occupied by myself or another guest.
World traveler meets high tech. This is an apartment you won't forget. From shabby chic floor seating, Your very own office nook that looks out over the park. Everything you need to cook a delicious organic meal and even the books to show you how! Enjoy some wine, get some work done and lounge with your friends. I made a lot of the art myself, so you won't find another place like this I promise. A truly unique San Francisco apartment.
Meditation/lounge nook, extra brand new comfy sleeper couch and full tea selection.
Interaction with Guests
I will be available by text and phone as I am usually traveling, which is why you get to stay here. You'll see some of the oddities I've gathered along the way! I love to give suggestions so ask me anything. If I'm around I can be scarce if you like, but am super friendly and love to show people my world. So, I'm happy to show you around a bit.
I love the coffee shop that's right next to Whole Foods. The funky vintage stores on Haight (some great finds.) There are 3 yoga studios within 2 blocks. But most of all I love jogging and hanging out in the biggest park in the city right out the window. The beach is about one mile away.
The N Judah and the Muni connect you to every spot in the city within 3 blocks walking. I recommend downloading the app Lyft or Uber, or use my bike. It's the best way to get around the city!
Other Things to Note
This place is one of a kind. It is designed to be welcoming, have great energy for relaxation and inspire creativity.
Go nuts but be human! Please be respectful and keep the hallway to inside voices. Other than that, treat it as you would your own home, as it's mine. No pets, or smoking. Do both of those in the park.
Zach's place was very clean, comfortable and incredibly accessible to everywhere we wanted to go in the city. Seamless check-in and checkout process, lots of amenities at the house, and everything was as promised. Great location, wicked close to restaurants and shopping on Haight, and it was awesome being at the doorstep of Golden Gate Park and having the ability to walk right into and through the park. Almost no interaction with the other private room occupants so it felt like we had the place to ourselves!! Someone stopped by to clean the apartment as we were arriving, and after finding out we had forgotten a corkscrew, she immediately ran to Whole Foods and was back within 10 minutes with two for us - can't ask for better treatment than that!! Loved the sage, and all of the books to read too!
We had a lovely time in San Francisco! Zach's apartment was very well located next to the park and Haight St., bike rental nearby, shops and restaurants around the corner. Everything very clean and as mentionned in the description. Beautiful place to explore the city
Zach's place is beautiful and clean. I slept well the one night I was there. I came for an (email hidden).Zion and Parnassus campus and both were a short uber ride away. I was worried about storing my bag after the checkout time but Zach was very accommodating and so thoughtful. He mentioned that I should just focus on my interviews. Although I didn't get to meet him he was very quick to respond to my emails.
I consider Zach to be a "go to guy" on all things relates to housing and rental issues. The apartment is extremely well-decorated with chic furniture and bunch of interesting books. Definitely recommend if someone would like to spend a couple of days in SF area.
Zach's place is the perfect location, within walking distance of the Cole Valley and Haight area, and VERY close to public transportation. The 33 and 71 are the closest lines, and with a short walk, you can reach the N line which can get you anywhere in the city. It was nice to be near Golden Gate park too! You have to check out The Ice Cream bar and Crepes on Cole off Cole and Carl, and take the 71 to Marnee Thai for the best Thai food ever!
The space was clean and tidy, and had most of the basics (spices, etc) we needed to cook a nice meal. Anything we didn't have could be purchased at the Whole Foods around the corner.
We would have liked to know ahead of time that the place was on a VERY busy street (at all hours). Zach kindly provides a white noise machine which helps a little, but earplugs were a must for us, which we bought at WFM. Also, this won't matter to most people, but the hand soap, shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the bathroom were in bottles labeled all natural, but they were just refilled with conventional stuff. We brought our own, so it wasn't a big deal, but worth mentioning.
Zach was quick to answer via email any questions we had, and although we didn't see him much, he was VERY friendly.
Overall, we would definitely recommend this place to anyone ready to explore SF!
Thanks Zach :)
Hey Erin. So happy to hear you had such a good stay!!!
I noticed the soap thing too when I got back from a trip a few days ago. That must have been my new house cleaner who did't understand that I only use natural products. I've spoken to him and am replacing all the conventional products this week. Thanks for the reminder and the keen eye.
This was a great location in a fabulous city. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Zach was great to respond to any questions before and during our stay. The pictures accurately portray the listing - clean and comfortable.
Zach's apt is really great. Although he wasn't there, he made it super easy to check in. The apartment was so clean and beautifully decorated. I also really appreciated the Everyone Lotion, I'm totally addicted to their lemon coconut scent now! The surrounding neighborhood and proximity to the park is also an amazing highlight of Zack's place. I couldn't have asked for a better experience in San Francisco. I'd recommend Zach's place a million times over. Thanks Zach!
