My family and I had such a wonderful experience staying here. The home was gorgeous and the location was divine. We traveled over the 4th of July and were able to watch surprisingly fabulous fireworks from the balcony. We actually spent most of our time on the balcony where we could enjoy the shade and a consistent breeze.
Loretta was such an attentive and supportive host. She responded quickly to questions before the trip and even those that arose during. She checked in on us via email which was a welcome connection.
The house was well furnished and met our needs. We look forward to staying here again the next time we are in the Keys.
We truly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. Being across the street from the beach was perfect and the views were incredible. Our host responded immediately when there was one small maintenance issue. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of linens. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the tools we needed. The shed with beach toys and chairs was really great and well stocked. We would definitely stay here again.
Loretta's home was bright and spacious with everything you could possibly need in your home away from home. I read all the glowing reviews prior to renting this lovely home and I will only be adding to those!! It was a very quiet neighborhood and the beach only filled up on the Memorial Day weekend. All the people we encountered in this area were very friendly. The beach was only a 2 minute walk across the street. There are showers there to rinse off after your dip in the ocean, and Loretta has one outside at her home as well. We loved everything about this place...her private yard with the banana tree, a pineapple tree, aloe plants, etc....the large crabs and wandering iquanas. There was also the dock out back where we kayaked out to the island and saw baby nurse sharks, starfish, sponges, and all types of marine wildlife. There is plenty to see in (email hidden)e Crane Point Museum and Nature Center was a favorite and also the Dolphin Research Center where we swam with the dolphins! Many wonderful restaurants and shops. We also went snorkeling out on the reef which was amazing! Her location is perfect and her home is beautiful. The view from the deck was a favorite... we spent a lot of time out there relaxing with a coffee in hand enjoying the view. I loved waking every morning to a view of the ocean!! We loved it here and it was hard to leave! I should mention we have 3 teen boys and they loved it here!! Loretta is a wonderful host and it was an amazing experience! Thank you, Loretta, for all your tips about the area and advice and allowing us to rent your gorgeous home!!!!!!!!
My family and I (4 adults and 2 kids) had a wonderful time at Loretta's place. The house is beautiful, very well located, extremely clean and equipped so overall very pleasant stay. Check in and out were smooth and professional. Loretta is responsive and extremely nice. I definitely recommend this place.
We had a great trip. The house was large, open and clean with a great patio off all three bedrooms upstairs. Perfect spot for a book or just to look out over the ocean. The location was perfect for us, walk across the street to the beach, easy drive to shopping and rented paddleboards that were great in the canal out back. The weather was warm and sunny everyday and the water clear and very warm. I highly recommend fishing, kayaking and a snorkel trip to the reef while you are in the area.
