If you're going to Fes, book this right now. It's perfect - central location (five minute walk to blue gate & 10 min to the central mosque). Everything is spotlessly clean. We came in the midst of the brutal sun of August, and even though there was no AC, we did have a fan and the riad stayed relatively cool. We had such a wonderful stay. The shower is slow to drain but it's spotless and gorgeous, and the pressure is great. The terrace view is stunning - we watched the sunset multiple times. We highly recommend breakfast - such a great price and absolutely worth it. So filling and delicious. We didn't have the pleasure of meeting Sarah, but she was a fantastic communicator. Mohammed was our host during our stay and he is literally the most helpful and perfect host. He booked us taxis to and from the airport and helped us with everything we needed - including arranging a guided tour of the medina. He even walked us to and from our taxi, and offered to take us to a Hamman (I chickened out). We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Nice and clean riad. Welcoming hosts. Spacious rooms. Located in the very center of the médina. Only one pitfall : no air conditioning. I'll recommend it anyway.

We stayed at Sarah's for two nights. It was great! The directions were perfect and the location is right in the medina but far enough away from the crowds. The room was spacious and really nice.

We have a wonderful time staying at Sarah's place with superb hospitality from Sanaa and Mohammad. They recommend places to go in the medina and over dinner we shared about different experiences and learn about Islamic cultures and a lot more about Morocco too. The Riad we are staying at is a hidden gem in Fez and the interior is fascinating and beautiful! Communicate prior to arrival is clear and accurate, since it is more important as the small lanes are not easy to navigate. Beware of people approaching you who try to help you find the way to places as more likely they are just looking for ways to get tips after all. In sum this is great stay in Fez !!

The house is a pleasant stay. central in the old city. just of the main busy streets of the medina. A easy stroll after dinner. The hosts are wonderful. Very easy to make arrangements and are very willing to explain about Fes and any other questions you have. The rooms share one bathroom, so sometimes you have to wait for showering. But the ambiance of the building makes up for that.
