Thank you! We hope you have a great stay.
Everything in the house was much better than what the photos portrayed! Julie & her husband attended to an issue in the bathroom unobtrusively and promptly. Love the area, since it's so walkable! Will consider staying here the next time I'm in Austin!
Great house, great location, great host. Julie has everything set up to make life easy, even entry into the property. I will definitely be back. Thanks Julie
Our family gathered from Boston, Philly, and Chicago to visit our youngest who live in the neighborhood. When we arrived the house was spotlessly clean and the kitchen was stocked with local beer, organic coffee beans (and multiple kinds of cream for it),TopoChico, and munchies. The beds are really comfortable and the shower is fantastic! Our family likes to cook feasts when we get together, and this kitchen worked really well. It was a great house to hang out in, too. The neighborhood is very quiet and incredibly close to downtown Austin, the airport, and yummy local eateries. Really, the location can't be beat. Thanks so much, Julie, for being such a gracious and responsive host!
The East Downtown House was perfect and exactly like the photos. Juile was a wonderful host! The house is conveniently located. We walked everywhere and checked out local restaurants, juice bars and coffee shops! After exploring the city, we enjoyed relaxing in the backyard. The snacks and Topo Chico that Julie left for us hit the spot! This house was the perfect home away from home. I would definitely stay there again!
Julie's house was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. Julie was very friendly and attentive to our needs. The house was a great home base for all of the events and activities we were there to attend downtown (an easy 20 minute walk). The house is also an easy walk to a bunch of great restaurants and bars on the east side. Would definitely stay here again!
Host was great, made it super easy to get into the house and find what we needed.
The house is very clean and has fun furniture. The backyard and grill was perfect for a barbeque we had. The location was perfect for getting to the conference center - the 10 min walk was not a problem.
Fantastic doesn't quite do Julie's hospitality or the house and location justice. Everything from the beer, coffee, fresh linens, etc to the awesome location and charm of the house made it a wonderful stay. The house was very clean and with 6 adults we had plenty of space.
It was truly an awesome weekend in a home made all the more amazing by Julie's attention to detail and lovely, lovely home. I would definitely stay there again on my next staycation in Austin. Thank you so much for everything.

I enjoy spending time with friends and family, exploring the new restaurants, galleries and stores in Austin, and traveling.
People would often tell me that our house is like an oasis right in the middle of Austin, and then jokingly ask if they could come stay on vacation. So we decided to start renting our house when we traveled. We want people staying at our house to be able to enjoy all the things about our house and neighborhood that we love - the serenity while being in the middle of the city, walking or biking to downtown and Ladybird Lake, the unique mix of high end restaurants and local Tex-Mex dives, and a thriving music and artist community.
