Thank you! We hope you have a great stay.
This house was pretty awesome. The backyard was huge, plenty of parking, really close to the places we ate at. It was really well stocked with blankets, kitchen utensils, and Julie even provided snacks and drinks inside. I would highly recommend this location.
Julie's house is unique and fun! It also provides a big sofa bed and air mattress which are comfortable and nice for my brother and cousin to stay! Julie is also a nice and helpful host. We enjoyed our stay here.
Julie and Vanessa (her assistant) were so accomodating, responsive and friendly! The house was wonderful and stocked with drinks and treats that made getting "home" all that more amazing. It was a great staycation!
Julie's house is at an amazing location: 10 minutes walking to Rainey Street and 10 minutes to 6th Street. There was parking in front of the house. The house was nicely decorated, pretty clean. There was a huge backyard, with lots of shade. There were two bedrooms but we turned the living room to another bedroom easily by closing the doors. The sofa bed in the living room was pretty comfortable. There were lots of towels, enough for everyone. She also left us some water, beer in the fridge and some snacks in the kitchen. Even though we didn't use, the kitchen was fully equipped too. We didn't meet Julie in person but she was always responsive. She responded immediately to my messages. She also made our access easy. We come to Austin pretty often. If we come with a group of 4-6 again, we will definitely come back to her house.
Julie made me feel incredibly welcome, the house was exquisite, and I felt like a very valued guest. It's nicer than the pictures make it out to be! The convenience of coming and going was way more convenient than a hotel makes it and I was just so impressed with the house overall. I would love to come back here and would highly recommend it to anyone coming to Austin.
Julie was an excellent host! Very communicative, very helpful and informative about everything available in East Austin. The house comes prepared with a little guidebook telling the guest the best and closest services and even has some tips for getting around.
But the house -- stunning! The backyard alone is a dreamy wonderland that makes this space worth three times what it costs! The whole house is actually much more spacious than it looks in the photos. Very comfortable beds and all the appliances/amenities you'll ever need.
Location can't be beat. In a city that can sometimes feel (to an East-Coaster like myself) as sprawling as LA we managed to walk everywhere we needed in less than 15 minutes.
Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend to everyone!
Julie was a fabulous host. She answered all of our questions promptly, let us know all sorts of insider info on the area around the house, and was kind enough to leave the house stocked with tea, coffee and miscellaneous essentials. The house was adorable, and 5 of us stayed there very comfortably. One of the best features was the incredible back yard! We definitely spent some quality time out there. We even picked a few kumquats from the tree one morning. Also....because traffic can be bad in Austin, location is very important, and Julie's house is situated perfectly for efficient access to all the new hot spots on the East Side, and it only took a few minutes to get downtown. Highly recommend Julie and her beautiful house.

About the Host, Julie
I enjoy spending time with friends and family, exploring the new restaurants, galleries and stores in Austin, and traveling.
People would often tell me that our house is like an oasis right in the middle of Austin, and then jokingly ask if they could come stay on vacation. So we decided to start renting our house when we traveled. We want people staying at our house to be able to enjoy all the things about our house and neighborhood that we love - the serenity while being in the middle of the city, walking or biking to downtown and Ladybird Lake, the unique mix of high end restaurants and local Tex-Mex dives, and a thriving music and artist community.
