Cute little cottage, a 5-minute walk from Redondo Pier. I spent 13 nights here during a business trip. As I was on my own, the cottage was a good size, but for this long, I believe it would be too cramped for 2 people. If you are only staying for 3 or 4 nights, it would be adequate for 2 people.
There was usually plenty of parking as long as you got home before 5pm, after that it would get a little harder to find a spot. Also, there are black-out times for parking, which earned me a parking fine.
I enjoyed my time here, and would definitely stay here again on a further trip to LA.
I didn't get to meet Omar as he was away, but had e-mailed with him prior to my stay to organise having parcels sent to the address, and he was more than helpful.
This beach bungalow is a hidden gem! Omar is a great host, and maintains the charm of the place quite well. My husband and I rode our bikes down for a weekend getaway and thoroughly enjoyed the cottage, community and of course the BEACH! Loved this place, I'm sure you will too.
Omar is super responsive and lovely to work with. The house is darling, and in a great location. It's a real beach house in a little community of beach houses, among a So Cal residential street including apartment buildings and churches. You can walk to a CVS and breakfast places as well as the pier super easily. Redondo is a great little beach town full of nice locals, good food, and, well, the gorgeous ocean.
Omar has an amazing apartment. It's sharply decorated and furnished, spacious, and relaxing. It's also centrally located, with the beach and Redondo pier no more than 1/2 km away, and a loaded plaza (Starbucks, groceries, Jamba Juice, subway) just 1 block alway. Omar is also a great host, quick and frequent communicator, and all around nice guy. You're lucky if you get the chance to stay at his place.
We had a lovely 3 night stay at the bungalow and we loved it. So close to the beach and in a really quiet street. There were plenty of places to eat and drink close by and Omar gave us a list too. We even had a potted history of the building which was cool. We had no problem parking and just had to remember to park on the right side of the road on road sweeping morning but that was simple. It was a percet end to our trip. We hope you like the honey we left you from opur home area.
I had a great stay! The bungalow is exactly as it looks in the pictures. It's a great location only a block from the beach and close to restaurants, shopping, etc. The TV was broken but who cares! There's much more to do. But with that said when I told Omar about it he came personally to check it out and try to fix it. I'd definitely stay here again.
Hands down best value for you buck. this place is so causy, clean and has everything you need. This was my first experience in airbnb and was absolutely amazing. The place, the area, the amenities...everything was perfect. I will be visiting LA more often, this is the place I will be staying in everytime
Very cute bungalow, walking distance to restaurants, bars and coffee. We were in town for a wedding at the Redondo Beach Historic Library, and this was the absolutely ideal location.
Omar's beach bungalow was just as advertised: a beautiful, quaint little cottage with all the necessary amenities for a perfect visit. Situated one short block from the pier, we enjoyed happy hour margaritas at El Torito each day, breakfast at Doma (a short walk away), and the beach couldn't have been more welcomed. Given the opportunity, I would stay here each time I visit. Omar was quick to respond to texts and check-in/check-out were as easy as could be. Free parking in front of the house was always plentifully available and never a problem. I loved every minute of my stay here.
Had an absolutely wonderful time in this Bungalow. The place was adorably decorated, neat, and had everything I needed for my stay. Omar was a very easygoing and welcoming host. Will seriously consider staying here again if ever I'm back in Redondo.
