  • I stayed in Frank's cottage for two nights and had a lovely time. All the amenities were provided, and the beds were nice and comfortable. Although the cottage is rurally located, the directions were really well done and we had no trouble finding it. Thanks for the great stay!

  • We had a wonderful stay at this delightful cottage. It was peaceful and clean and had everything we needed. We sat by the fire and had a very nice evening. I would highly recommend staying here.

  • We really enjoyed our stay at Franks Cottage. Seamus greeted us and showed us around. He was friendly and interesting to talk to. The cottage was very comfortable and had everything we needed including a lovely wood heater and great timed heating as well. Even though it was a bit out of the way, the location suited us. We were able to go up to the Sligo area and it was not far from Strokestown where we enjoyed a visit to the Famine Museum. We also liked walking along the road from Franks Cottage, the scenery was very pretty.

  • Our family of five stayed in this completely renovated lodging. The quaintness of the original stone building remains even with the new modern kitchen, spacious bathroom and furnishings. There were detailed directions on house rules and how things work that were quite helpful. A selection of DVDs were available along with local merchandise that could be purchased. Some food and drinks were also left for us. Although we only stayed one night, we enjoyed ourselves. We would stay here again.

  • The house is totally remodeled on the inside and couldn't be in much more of a tip-top shape. Really like a modern cabin with all the amenities. Enjoyed the homemade scone they left as part of their welcome pack. Seamus and Judy are very nice and helpful. The area is pure country goodness as far as the eye can see. A great place to get away from it all and back to nature.

  • What a wonderful place! We loved the privacy and all the space this cottage offers. It's a home away from home and we especially loved the kitchen and cosy sitting room with fireplace. Very sad that we had only 1 night there! We'll have to come back! It is a bit difficult to find but follow your gps/satnav and you'll be fine. Thanks Judy ans Seamus!

Hello and welcome to our holiday home! We are a family who work full time, but enjoy offering the cottage in our spare time, epsecially now that our children are getting bigger. We are looking forward to the experience of meeting new people through airbnb. This cottage is part of my husband's homeplace and has been in his family for over 200 years!! We decided to use it as a holiday home to generate income to put our children through college. I've added a few things to the cottage that I couldn't live without - WiFi, Books, warm fire and Tv/Dvd!!
