Nice and big room in the city center of Rome. The apartment is on piazza S. Pietro in Vincoli. Just on the other side of this famous square the church with the famous Moses carved by Michelangelo.
100 meters away the most impressive building of the Roman Empire: the Colosseum! The area is very safe and full of cosy streets and squares. You will be sleaping in the old famous city center of the Eternal city. 25 minutes walking the Termini train station, 5 minutes walking the underground.
The perfect place for a tourist and for the smallest price possible.
Do not miss the chance!
The room can be a single of a double. There is free wireless internet connectrion for our guests
Carlo was such a great host. The room was clean and comfortable, with a beautiful view of an old building spotted with vines and a cobbled green courtyard with a view of the city in the distance. The place is a five minute walk to the Metro and to the Colusseum, so it was easy to get around and see the sights. Also Carlo would always offer me espresso whenever he was making it, which I thought was sweet. I would definitely come back, and I recommend the place to anyone traveling to Rome.
Carlo and his mother Signora Giulia were lovely hosts. Carlo's work hours meant that I spent more time with Giulia in the evenings when I returned home after my travels in the city and had many wonderful conversations in Italian. Giulia also recommended a visit to a church nearby that still has a Mithraic temple in the subterranean area of the current active church. Their home is centrally situated to Termini station, the Metro, the Colloseo, the Via dei Fori Imperiali along the ancient Forum and Palatine remains to the Via del Corso and other main roads that lead you to Trevi, Pantheon etc. The large bedroom is very comfortable and the kitchen well equipped with all you need to make lunch and set off for the day, My 6 days in Rome were great thanks to my hosts. Thank you very much, Maria
It couldn't be better!
The apartment it very well placed... 5 min from de Coliseum, 2 mins from metro, 10 mins from termini, near the touristic area, and very, very confortable.
This was the perfect place to stay for a great Rome exploration! Close to everything (though I am willing to walk further than most) easy access to the colosseum, mouth of truth and Trevi fountain and I also walked to the Vatican, Borghese gardens and Pricillas catacombs.
The house is neat and clean and Carlo and his Mother are very nice and accommodating , they even offered to keep my luggage as I had a late flight on my last day.
If I make it back to Rome I would definitely stay again.
My partner and I went to Rome for 3 days.
Carlo and his mum were very helpful right from the very start. The directions given to the house were very easy to follow and the house was in a perfect location. Couldn't ask for a better spot.
Carlo gave us a map of Rome and pointed all the good areas. The house was very central and we would recommend to anyone.
We loved our stay!!
Carlo is a great host, easy going and relaxed. His mother is so sweet. I stayed for 3 nights in September and enjoyed getting to know them. The apartment is clean, spacious and in a convenient location. I highly recommend staying with Carlo while in Rome.
Carlo and his mother are extremely friendly. This location is great, literally 4 minutes walk to the metro station that can get you to most of the popular places in Rome. If you like to eat local food if you just walk across Carvour street you will find great restaurants off of Union. Bed is comfortable and the apartment has nice high ceilings. Great place and hosts!
This was the most convenient place I stayed during my whole 3 week trip. I didn't see Carlo, but his mother was sweet and helpful as can be. The room was comfortable and roomy.
Carlo was a great host. He was there when we arrived and gave us a map and a bunch of recommendations for restaurants/bars. The room was very clean and quiet, and in a very convenient location. Carlo even made coffee for us sometimes in the mornings.
Highly recommend staying with Carlo if you find yourself in Rome.
Carlo's place is very continent, very close to coliseum as well as metro. He is a nice guy and he even invited me to have home made dinner with his family. It was my first time in Italy and I had a good time there.
