Andrea's apartment worked well for the group of 10 of us as each room had it's own key and Bathroom. We were also very happy with the location which is walking distance to the Colosseum and metro nearby. The main issue I would say is the communication with Andrea. He did reply our messages but maybe due to his busy schedule, not always prompt. So our first booking didn't go through as he did not accept it and as such, the amount was blocked on our credit card and we weren't sure if we still had a place to stay or not. So that was a little stressful. Also, do bear in mind the notes of this listing which states there's tax for each day for tourist. Andrea sent his friend to meet us at the apartment upon our arrival so once we met him the next day, we realized he's quite a nice guy and allowed us to let us print our Vatican City tickets at his office. So my advice would be to always inform Andrea of anything in advance as he does take some time to reply. Other than that, he's a very nice host and did accommodate completely to our needs when we needed to leave luggage behind after checking out.
There were some check-in issues. Although I emailed Andrea twice in the days before my arrival, I did not receive a response. No-one was at the apartment when I arrived. Another resident in the building phoned the number and spoke to Andrea's assistant and it turned out the room had plumbing problems and was not available. i was offered a room in a hotel apparently run by the same group and that turned out to be very satisfactory, The Hotel Roi was staffed with very friendly staff, it was clean comfortable and even better located that the apartment (right on Piazza Re de Roma). So, after the initial problems, I was quite content with my stay.
Andrea was a very helpful and easy going host. The communication before reservation and during our stay was smooth. We actually stayed in another apartment because Home 16 Relais apparently had an hudraullic problem, so we were moved to Home 57 and everything was great. I would definatelly stay there again and have Andrea as our host! Grazi, Andrea!!!
My stay at home 16 relais was amazing . The best part about this place is that it centrally located in roma , it is just 3 stops from the central station by metro ( 5 minutes) our host Mr Andrea was a very humble , he made sure we knew each and everything about rome and was available 24/7 for any help.
