In the building you will find washer/dryer.
Included is a phone for unlimited local calling and of course unlimited high speed internet (WIFI).
Overall the place is cozy and nice and I had a good time.
The park down the street was especially nice to go running in and the view from the hill there is awesome.
Just a few things: Don't expect to be anywhere near a metro, the closest one is like a twenty minute walk from this spot. You can take a bus, but that's annoying. This is like on the outskirts of the Plateau, so everything closes early and the crickets are out by 6PM (Except for the Maxi grocery store two blocks away t accurately portray the situation and just wanted to balance out the score a little. It is a really nice, safe and clean place and the bed is so comfortable.
David is a great host and ,more importantly, a great person. Very helpful whenever we needed anything and takes pride in making sure his guests are treated well. Would definitely stay here again whenever I come back to Montreal!
David's place was close to perfect. great location, we took public transportation the 4 days we were in Montreal and the bus stopped in the block out front. What a fun, friendly city it is. His flat is perfectly set up for visitors, clean, convenient, well stocked, and plenty of storage. We never met David but he answered our phone calls and addressed any issues right away. The only "problems" were that we never got the welcome-info sheet offered. We managed to figure out the neighborhood pretty easily. And it would have been nice to know that the mysterious locked door off the kitchen was an alternate exit for emergencies. Luckily we had no emergencies. The front of the building needs a clean up. Seems to be one of the only homes in the neighborhood that isn't pretty and planted. I definitely recommend staying here.
Had wonderful 4 nite stay in David's Montreal apartment. Experience overall was very nice. I have stayed in many similar holiday apartments - so appreciate honest clear feedback.
Free Parking was available on side streets - just be attentive to signs for restricted times.
Neighborhood felt very safe - residential. Apartment is in apartment building. Some trash laying around outside door gives messy first impression. Unit was good size, and very clean. Quiet area. It was exceptionally warm and humid and we were surprised that there was NO. Air Conditioning or even any fans. Luckily had small fan in car. Minimalist furnishings and supplies. Upon request David delivered more towels - to add to the two that he had left . Luckily store nearby as toilet paper needed!
It's a bit on outskirts of main part of city but regular # 27 bus outside door took u to Metro. Get all day or 3 day combo pass. Rental bikes also just outside unit.
Overall great unit, good value , nice feeling where you feel like a resident of this great city .
David was very accommodating and responsive to all our requests. I would def stay here again - but would bring another fan if it was summertime.
. Location is not bad. Bus 27 leaves every 20-25 mins next door. We had issues with the bed sheet and the host changed it the next day.
The bathroom and bedroom door won't lock so be careful
In all an ok experience.
The flat was very nice, clean, and there was a good info sheet with tips about the area including where to find the grocery and convenience stores, the WIFI password, and the number for a taxi service. I felt very safe in the area and in the flat. It does bear mentioning that it's a basement unit and the upstairs neighbors are VERY noisy during the day, and you can hear it every time someone enters/exits the security door. Fortunately, the noise levels die down after dark. I would recommend to friends. I would personally return to one of David's properties, but something on a higher floor, instead.
David's communication was proactive and helpful leading up to the date. As check in got closer and during the course of the stay, he was slow on the response via email. However, I suspect if I called I would have gotten better results.
Everything was clean and comfortable. David makes it very convenient to check in. The apartment is very spacious. The couch isn't very comfortable, but hopefully you'll be busy exploring Montreal. On the whole, we were very satisfied with the place and can readily recommend it.
David's apartment was great! It's more spacey than pictured, and when the wi-fi didn't work David came as soon as possible to make it work again. I stayed with three of my friends and we all are satisfied. Highly recommended!
David was a wonderful host, he always answered me very quickly. The appartement is nice, it has everything you need for a good stay. It is located really near the street of Mont Royal that is full of restaurants, shops etc... A bus just a minute from the apartement takes you straight to the métro station Mont Royal. One thing I really enjoyed is that there is a public indoor swiming pool in front of the apartement. I would recommend David as a host. Thank you David
David's apartment is perfect! It is even bigger than the photos represent. It has everything one would need and great location near to rue Mont-Royal. David is a nice man too! Would certainly recommend.
