The space
Lodging

A very special house for special people, nature lovers, eager to get to know the real Mallorca, for those who want to sit on the terrace for breakfast or a long dinner enjoying the fantastic ocean views and with their backs covered by the mountains of the Sierra de Tramuntana.

About 10 minutes from downtown in Banyalbufar, a village located between fruit trees and orchards with the typical terraces, and splendid "safaretjos" (ponds).
In the heart of the Sierra de Tramuntana, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. A few minutes away from beautiful pebble beaches (see photos). Ideal for hiking enthusiasts with routes starting near the house. 35 minutes from Palma, Ciutat de Mallorca.

The defining feature of the little house is the obvious desire to limit the impact on the environment and preserve the nature surrounding it. This is why the wifi connection has to be through a 4G system, which makes it subject to the coverage of the line, which is sometimes insufficient.
Recycling is required. Waste must be separated by category. You do not need to take them to the collection point, you can deposit them in the containers that you will find behind the house.
If this rule is not met, you will be charged €50 through the platform.
We must respect the rules of the community.
Thank you very much.

The interior space consists of two connected bedrooms, one with a double bed and another with two beds, a living area with a fireplace surrounded by typical Mallorcan benches, an integrated kitchen with everything you need, and a small bathroom with a shower.
Outside, a splendid terrace with ocean and mountain views, equipped with a grill, sun lounger and shower.
Due to the special location of the house and if you want to reach it by car, a small vehicle and some driver's expertise is necessary, since Banyalbufar is a village nestled on the side of a mountain, therefore, its streets are narrow and steep and a short dirt road must be navigated, although you can always leave the vehicle in the parking lot that is a 4-minute walk away.

Guest access
Since July 1, 2016, the "Ecotax" has come into force, a tax that must be paid by all tourists who visit the Balearic Islands and whose collection the government makes us responsible to the owners of the houses, this tax is 2 euros per day in high season for stays of less than 9 days and from the 9th day, 1 euro per person staying, which must be paid at the time of your arrival at the house, before arriving you will be sent a message with the exact amount to be paid.
In winter, complimentary firewood is offered for the first day of your stay at the house. If you need more, you will be recommended a place where you can buy it.

Other things to note
The house is a 10-minute walk from the village and 5 minutes from the nearest parking lot. To get to the house by car you have to go up a small steep and winding road, but as I say, you can always leave the car in the nearby parking lot. Recycling is required. Waste must be separated by category. You do not need to take them to the collection point, you can deposit them in the containers that you will find behind the house.
If this rule is not met, you will be charged €50 through the platform.
We must respect the rules of the community.
Since the house is in a rural area, sometimes the internet signal does not arrive correctly; in fact, it is not possible to contract fiber, so we have a 4g router.
