Katie is a very welcoming host. She is really helpful and very much deserves the superhost title. My husband and I stayed in Katie's place for 6 nights. She recommended us some lovely local restaurants with great food, helped us with transfeer from the airport and even drove us to the bus station in the last day.
The house is located in the centre of the town and has a small beautiful garden, which was the best place to have our morning coffee, just as we have at home in Estonia when we are lucky enough to have warm summer mornings. The room itself and the guests' bathroom were clean and simple. There are 4 cats in the house, but they are not allowed to the guests' room.
Katie is an artist so I took a mosaic lesson and made a mosaic pomegranade that now remembers us our lovely vacation in Cyprus.
Thanks to Katie we could really feel the spirit of the island.
I stayed in Katie's house for one week time and had only positive experience about host, house and facilities provided. Katie is very friendly and helpful host, great artist and intelligent lady to speak with.
Location of the house is just in the middle of the Old Town from where you can easily get to main attractions of the town. The house has very good atmosphere, room is big and cozy.
Katie is a nice host, who always gives me good travel tips. She even picked me from the bus station. She also prepared some local Cypriot fruits for me to try, one was from her garden. The room is very clean as shown. You can have your privacy, and whenever you need assistance, Katie will be nearby. Location is convenient, you can walk to both bus stations near old port or old hospital, for the intercity buses and bus 16 to Kourion respectively. Cute cats too.
I cannot say enough positive things about our stay at Katie's. She was very welcoming and helpful at every step of the way; she had wonderful recommendations for places to eat and things to see all over the island. The home itself is very cute, with a lovely outdoor garden; it's very central and a great place to be based for trips around the island. The room is private, though can be a bit noisy as it faces the street, but it all depends on who is passing and how noisy they are.
Thanks, Katie, for a wonderful trip.
My stay at Katies house was great: she is a wonderful host, always helpful and just simply very nice. Her house is a vacation in itself - very spacious and terasse and garden are cosy and relaxing. The location is very central in the old town, just a walk to the sea side and the old harbour. Thank you Katie :-)
This unit is located in 'old town' Limassol (Lemesol), which Trip Advisor just listed as one of the top 10 up and coming tourist destinations. I appreciated having so many stores and cafes within walking distance. The beach is also a short walk, and I recommend catching bus 30 for any local sites, as parking and driving is often nerve wracking.
This unit is in an alley, and you will hear people walking about and cars zooming until 11 p.m. or so. But after that it is very quiet and I slept soundly. The bed is comfortable and it has a portable heater for the cooler months. I felt safe here and the surrounding neighbors were very friendly; one even offered to parallel park my car for me, after seeing my struggle with the 'wheel on the right' maneuvering.
The real reason to stay is Katie. Ask to see her portfolio of beautiful paintings and her artistically furnished garden. If you are lucky you will hear some amazing stories about Cyprus, as she is practically a life long long resident. For me this was a special stay.
Staying at katie's house gave on my journey a special atmosphere that combined nature, art and peace. And katie is the Demiurgo of that fantastic world. I will return there as soon as possible!
