small and cute studio located near Square Victoria Metro station.
The studio is located on the well known Mcgill street and next to the Famous W hotel.
McGill Street (officially rue McGill) is a street in Montreal named after James McGill after whom McGill University is named. The former head office building of Canadian National Railway Company, built for its predecessor Grand Trunk Railway, still stands on McGill Street and is now occupied by Quebec government offices.
In 1871, an advertisement for the Albion Hotel in an Ottawa newspaper called McGill Street "the great thoroughfare and commercial centre of the city". The McCord Museum of Canadian History refers to the street as "an important artery in Montreal."
The Quartier International de Montréal (Montreal's international district) describes McGill Street as "the link between the strategic sectors of the Old Port, Old Montreal, the Cité Multimedia and the Quartier international."
The Montreal station of the Montreal and Southern Counties Railway interurban streetcar line was located on McGill Street. The station building is still standing, although no longer used for transportation purposes.
McGill Street runs from Victoria Square south to rue de la Commune in the Old Port, at the head of the Lachine Canal. North of Victoria Square, the street transitions to Beaver Hall Hill.

Great place, great stay everything as it looks in the pictures. Would stay again with Hakim
Nice studio and in a great location. Would recommend
Great stay. Nice place. But that big as I thought but still tidy and sweet.
Hakim's place was a great value. He has a modern looking apartment which has a full kitchen and a washer and dryer in the apartment, which is very useful. The check-in got a little garbled, as for some reason the key which is normally left in the lockbox was not left there by the previous airbnb guest, however we got the impression that it was not the norm. Hakim was very responsive which made everything go smoothly during our stay, we even were able to extend by another night.
The apartment was very clean. A great location very close to the (website hidden) Catherine's street (excellent shopping) was about a 15 minute walk from the apartment. I would suggest to other guests that they bring an extra towel since there was only one to use between two of us. Also parking cost us between $15-$20 per day. The lot was right beside the building but got very busy during the day and we had to wait to get our vehicle a few times. Other than the parking situation the apartment was perfect for two people!
It was a nice stay in Hakim´s appartment. Everything was clean, it is very central and the communication in advance was great. I would reccomend this place in Montreal pretty much. Thanks
Hakim's appartment is really nice and modern. Check in and check out was very easy thanks to the keybox. Many places of interest are within easy walking distance from the apartment. Highly recommended!
The studio is well-situated, clean and good value for money. As others have noted it is a bit on the dark side, and as it's one floor above a restaurant there was the smell of cooking from time to time. Still, overall it was a good experience for the location. I never spoke with Hakim but his colleague Mima was very responsive and helpful.
The apartment is in a great location-- an easy (less than 5 minute) walk to the Victoria Square metro, the museum district, and the bike paths and walking paths along the canal. We loved staying here! Hakim responds quickly to communications and everything went very smoothly with check-in and finding the key.
The apartment is a bit smaller than pictures make it look, and between the uncarpeted floor and the lack of light from small recessed windows, it was not the most home-y place to come back to. But everything was very well-maintained and for the location and the price you can't beat it!
