Amazing postcard view of Lake Ashi, Mt Fuji and the Hakone Shrine from our comfortable house. Newly reformed house with an outdoor deck, large kitchen living space, two tatami bedrooms and a small room with kids loft. Walking distance to the lake, restaurants, bike rental, boat rides etc. Located just above Motohakone town where you can visit the Narukawa Art Museum, lots of restaurants, boat tours and more.

The space
Beautiful mountainside villa with an open living room and kitchen, traditional tatami bedrooms and amazing views. We are located about 300m from Moto Hakone Village and lakeside. You can walk but it is a very steep walk up to our house so guests with heavy bags usually take a taxi up the hill on arrival. There are about 25 stone steps up to the house which can be slippery when wet, so it is not wheelchair friendly, but the view on a clear day makes the climb worth it.

Other things to note
In winter, we drain the water to prevent it from freezing.
Here's how to start using the water (hot water) after check-in:

① When checking in, there is a water drain plug opening and closing device on the left wall past the stairs.
Press the switch and the water flow lamp (green) will light up.
② The boiler power supply is on the right-hand wall in front of the back door behind the water pump switchboard. If you turn it on, hot water will come out.
③ When checking out, press the switch again on the drain plug opening and closing device, and the red lamp will light up and the water can be drained.

Sorry for the inconvenience, but please follow the above procedure.
