*** VERY IMPORTANT NOTICE ***
Please, read carefully our HOUSE RULES before booking. Despite the fact that we wrote it very clearly, we still seem to have problems with this "detail", so we try to make things as clear as possible: our prices are so low because we only offer a room and bathroom with everything you may need in a room and a bathroom (sterylized sheets and towels, toilet paper, soap, shampoo, shower-gel, hairdrier). Guests that are looking for a place where they can cook or eat or spend time in the living-room should look for another place: the only areas accessible to our guests are their bedroom, their bathroom and their balcony. Any other area of the house is exclusively accessible by our family, with no exceptions. It is really embarrassing to have to write it and we know it might sound rude and unfriendly, but we have had several unpleasant experiences in the past so we just need to make things clear. Other than that, you will discover that we are friendly and sociable people. :)
The guests will have access to the bedroom, to their en-suite private bathroom, to their private balcony complete with table and chairs.
*** VERY IMPORTANT NOTICE ***
Please, read carefully our HOUSE RULES before booking. In particular, we ask you to read the rules regarding the use of the kitchen and other areas of the flat, and the rules about eating or keeping food in the room. Despite the fact that we wrote it very clearly in our ad, we still seem to have problems with these "details", so we try to make things as clear as possible: our prices are so low just because all we offer is a bedroom and bathroom with everything you may need in a room and a bathroom (sterylized sheets and towels, toilet paper, soap, shampoo, shower-gel, hairdrier). Guests that are looking for a place where they can cook or eat or spend time in the living-room should look for another place where this is possible. Again: the only areas accessible to our guests are their bedroom and their bathroom, no exceptions. Any other area of the house is exclusively accessible by us. It is really embarrassing to have to write it here and even more embarrassing to have to remind our guests this. So, please, read carefully our ad.
Interaction with Guests
We respect our guests' privacy and we spend most of our time working, but we are always open to a chat over a coffee or an aperitivo.
And, of course, we are always ready to give our guests tips and suggestions about transports, restaurants, cafes, bars, sights, places to visit and things to try out of the usual touristy lot and off the beaten track, and so on. We are frequent travelers, and we know the value some "local advice" to make a trip an enjoyable and trouble-free experience.
We love the fact that our neighborhood is in the heart of Rome, with all its "logistic" advantages, minus the disadvantages of being in a touristy area (pricey cafes and restaurants, tourist traps and so on). Here, you can live as a Roman does, and still be at just minutes from the sights.
This area is absolutely blessed, when it comes to transport: we have two urban train stations at walking distance (including one who gives you a direct train link to the International Airport). Plus, we have the tram number 8, that takes you to Trastevere or to Largo Argentina in just 10 minutes. Last but not least, there are many bus lines that connect you to every corner of this town.
As Roman citizens, we know there are not many areas that can boast such a great public transport richness.

The room is spacious. The location is great, 5 mins walk to tram and 10 mins to a bus station which take you directly to the airport. The host is really nice and helpful with everything, direction, check in-out, helping with the luggage. He fixed the curtain right away, once found that's broken. The area is nice and quiet and it's only 5 mins to Vatican City and around 15 mins to City Center. The only thing is that the room is kinda dark and the bathroom door is kinda old, but everything else is perfect
This room lived up to its positive reviews. I booked it last minute for me, my mother and my sister-in-law and was just thankful to have anything. However, Emanuela's partner Emiliano (who took care of the accommodations) went above and beyond to make our first Airbnb *and* Rome experience as welcoming as possible. He was flexible with our early check-in and even had pastries and espresso made for us on the patio.
The room itself is as advertised. Spacious for two, though on the few nights I was there, the 3 of us managed well. The shower/toilet and sink are in separate rooms and are connected only to this room.
I was apprehensive about the distance on map of the residence from Rome's city center. But it turned out to be as convenient as claimed. It is a roughly 3 block walk from the nearest tram station to the place. The tram itself takes a pleasant 15 min. to get into Rome (it ends at Largo di Torre Argentina). Or you can just take the tram to Travastere train station, which is just one stop away.
The neighborhood is not particularly beautiful, but it's where people live, and it's safe and has a few convenient groceries and eateries.
We booked 8 nights, I only stayed for 3 of them but my mom and sister had no complaints with the hospitality. Emiliano was very responsive to all of our questions, before and during the visit. After the stay, I had accidentally left behind a bag of chocolates. Emiliano was kind enough to take time out of his day to meet in the morning and again serve us coffee and pastries.
I spent one week at Emanuela's place. She was not there but her friend Emiliano is a lovely person and an excellent host (for the record, he speaks English and Spanish).
The flat is convenient located and well connected by tram with Trastevere, the city center and Fiumicino airport. You can reach the Forum, the Pantheon and Trevi's Fountain in 30 minutes
The room is huge and clean with a small balcony, the flat is really cozy with a tons of books, which I really like! absolutely recommended.
My stay at Emanuela's house was wonderful. The apartment is beautiful and the room is huge and extremely clean and comfortable with a beautiful balcony.
Also, it is in a great neighborhood. I found it extra convenient because the apartment is VERY close to Trastevere station, where the airport train leaves from.
Emanuela was wonderful andincredibly nice and helpful. She responded to all of my messages super quickly. Both her and Emiliano were firendly and amazing hosts who I would love to stay with again!

Open-minded, curious and nice person. I deeply love cinema, books and cooking for friends, but everything means nothing without music. I also love travel and meet people from other countries.
