My stay here was perfect. Everything you may require while on your trip is available. The bed is very comfortable. Location is close to the university and the entertainment district (Whyte Ave). Christine is a caring and wonderful host. This will be my booking when I return to Edmonton. You will not be disappointed.
Christine's house was very clean, and in a nice neighborhood close to the University. It takes about 20 minutes to walk from her house to the University. I stayed in a comfortable single bed in the basement. Although she wasn't at home while I was there, she touched base with me several times and made me feel welcome (as did her cat).
As soon as I stepped inside Christine's home, I could feel the warmth & soul, with lots of beautiful artwork to admire when you are at home. The room suited me perfectly needing to study before some exams at the university, as well quiet and private.
The area was perfectly located to the university and to Whyte Ave, as wel as being central to get to other areas of the city.
Hope to return again in the spring.
I had a very pleasant stay at Christine's home. Great communication prior to arrival and likewise was the welcome on arrival. Very clean and homely. I would be keen to stay here again. The neighbourhood is quiet, safe and very easy to access. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and was made to feel at home instantly. Thanks to air b n b and christine. I would definitely use this service again.
Christine was wonderful! She was very welcoming into her beautiful home and did everything she could to make sure I was comfortable. The house was very clean and in a nice neighbourhood.
Me and my friend had a great stay at Christine's place. She is a great host and was very welcoming. The rooms were as described in her listings. The rooms were clean and kept well. I would recommend anyone coming to Edmonton to stay at Christine's. Thanks.
The description of the room was accurate. The room I had was on the basement floor, but it was warm, dry, and had a window, as well as a very large closet with plenty of hangers. The bed was comfortable, the shared washroom very near and very clean, and the room had a large, solid desk at which I could work. The wi-fi connection worked very well also.
The house was located in a very pleasant residential neighbourhood about a 25-30 minute walk from the University of Alberta and a shorter walk to Whyte Avenue and other parts of Old Strathcona, and it is about a 5-7 minute walk to public transit.
The host, Christine, was very welcoming and accommodating, offering helpful advice on transit, restaurants, and other neighbourhood amenities.

I am a creative, curious and laid back woman who loves traveling the world, making art, learning languages, cooking ethnic foods, discovering new music, new books, new ideas and meeting new people.
I have a small painting studio in the house and also work with mosaic.
When I travel which is usually 2 to 3 times a year I really want to see it up close and personal. I want to really get a feeling for the place and that is usually found by hanging out and living with the locals. I just came back from Japan where I stayed as an airbnb guest. Now it is my turn to host.
