We stayed two nights at the Villa (room is located in a villa along with others) and had a very pleasant stay. Room is very comfortable and staff super friendly! Pictures are also very representative of what we found there. The only thing was a fairly bad smell in the bathroom that staff fixed by burning incense. To be noted as well, the villa is a bit far from the city center (especially to find a restaurant at night) for which you need to get a car to go to (staff always helps to arrange it, ca. 4 EUR one way). Overall, a very pleasant stay thanks!
Everything was perfect. From the room to the service, the staff was on top of everything. Made me feel very welcome.
My stay at Beji Indah villas was heavenly - my villa, the surrounding gardens, staff, breakfast.. everything was perfect. The staff was overly helpful in arranging everything from hotel transport to massage appointments, and the location was great - walkable to the monkey forest and Ubud restaurant area. Thank you, Beji Indah! will definitely stay there again next trip to Ubud if they have vacancy.
I would highly recommend Beji Indah Villas. I was absolutely stunned by the beauty of the extensive grounds. The landscaping is amazing, as is the large lap pool. I have never stayed at a place where the natural beauty was so wonderfully complimented by the habitations. Although the 9 (?) rooms and villas were mostly full, I rarely saw another person. My room was spacious and comfortable. The photos do not come close to providing an adequate representation of the property ... It's so very much nicer. The service was friendly, helpful and first rate. The food options were delicious, making it unnecessary to leave the property. As I was there during Nyepi (day of silence), this was the perfect place to enjoy the peace and solitude of the day. Despite the lovely feeling of isolation, it is easy walking distance to restaurants and shops and galleries and spas. The walk to Ubud (15 minutes) is a bit more challenging, not because of the distance, but because of the motorbikes on every lane and road. Also nearby is the charming monkey park. I cannot say enough good things about Beji Indah Villas. If you can, plan extra days here during your stay in Bali. You will not regret it. Thank you to all the staff for making my stay perfect!
We absolutely loved staying here - what a treat! The room was exactly as the photos showed but the beautiful (and enormous) grounds were a big surprise. The location is a handy scooter ride to central Ubud, in a quiet spot; there are a few restaurants within walking distance too though we didn't explore the immediate area so extensively. We visited in the rainy season - and it does rain, and not necessarily just at night, but it didn't interfere with our days much at all so don't be put off as I guess you get a much quieter view of Ubud thanks to it being low season!
Our room was closest to the kitchen so not the most private if you are sitting on the terrace, but the grounds are extensive and very peaceful, and the staff are amazing - helpful and incredibly friendly. We arranged airport pickup, a few taxis, scooter hire, and had recommendations for a day-trip and they even helped us organise a stay away from Ubud; nothing was too much trouble. We loved it so much that we came back and stayed in the stunning Nakula suite for our last 2 days - wow! even more amazing, with access to a 2nd infinity pool, a huge living space, open air bathroom and very private. We are working out how and when we can be back! Thanks so much to Komang and his lovely team for a wonderful stay.
One of the best places we have ever visited! All suites are part of an amazing tropical garden with different pools were you can chill after a visit to ubud. The accomodation is close to the city centre of ubud (5 min by motorbike/15 min by foot).
It realy is a peacefull and silent place were you can chill at the pool or meditate at the river. The people are very kind and helpfull. They will help you with everything and bring you a lovely breakfast every day with a great smile.
We enjoyed this place so much that we booked extra nights at the end of our holiday.

About the Host, Private Suites In A River Valley Estate
This is the home and garden of Dr Steve Wignall. The property is called Villa Beji Indah. We are located very close to the center of Ubud, next to the Monkey Forest and in a picturesque village called Nyuh Kuning.
As Steve travels constantly, he has enlisted his friends and his staff members Komang and Kadek to host your visits.
Komang, Kadek and the rest of the staff are from Ubud and therefore exude the same charm and friendliness that is unique to this Island of the Gods.
Steve is currently an advisor to the Clinton Health Access initiative, and is one of the leading experts on HIV in Indonesia who has been working on prevention and so forth here for decades. After graduating in the 60s and a 21 year stint as a US Navy doctor he began work in Indonesia. His experience and close relationship to Indonesia, from Papua to Sumatra, is reflected in his eclectic home set in extensive, rambling gardens featuring a 25 meter lap pool, plunge pools, a spa overlooking the river, garden pavilions, one of which is often used for Yoga retreats, weddings, fundraising dinners and other gatherings.
A sanctuary of peace and abundant natural beauty. There are nine unique suites on this beautiful garden estate which runs along a lush river valley/ravine, with a 25 meter lap pool and two shared pavilions. The village of Nyuhkuning is one of the most interesting hamlets in Ubud, noted for it's community civic awareness. It is home to Bumi Sehat Foundation run by famed midwife Robin Lim (CNN hero of the year) and also to the Bali Peduli foundation which focuses on HIV prevention, detection and friendly and accessible treatment. There are numerous small cafes and restaurants on the small road leading to Ubud's popular Monkey Forest which is a pleasant stroll away from the estate.
This is certainly the kind of magical place one needs to unwind, de-stress and refresh.
Please note that the entire estate is a no smoking area!
