We stayed at Ryan's apartment for 7 nights. Ryan was very helpful when I had questions for him. The apartment was very convenient for taking the ferry to Midtown/ NYC and walking distance to the A&P supermarket. One more important good point is that the security and concierge were extremely friendly and helpful. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
We had a great weekend in Ryans (website hidden) was nice and clean.Good space for four adults. Would definitely recommend others too rent this.Thank you Ryan !
We just came back from a wonderful stay in Ryan's apartment in West New York.
The apartment was perfectly situated for our visit. We enjoyed the beautiful walk by the riverside with the awesome view of the Manhattan Skyline.
Ryan was very prompt to answer our questions on transportation and other things before we came, so we knew exactly how to get there, and how to get to Manhattan by ferry or bus.
With it's two bedrooms, two bathrooms and living room it was perfect for two adult couples on a break.
We would be happy to stay there another time.
Ryan was an AMAZING host for our stay in his apartment for the 4 days we were there. The apartment was SPOTLESS and exactly as described. This being my first experience with Airbnb i could not possible have asked for a better place and host then Ryan and his BEAUTIFUL apartment. The neighborhood was very safe and quiet and the view of the city was absolutely stunning.
Ryans appartment is, as in other reviews already written, well situated. The view ist stunning (10th floor) and you can park your car free right next to the appartmentbuilding. If you take the bus tu NYC (Nr. 158) you'll be in around 15 to 20 minutes al Port Authorities / 42nd Street. If you travel with kids the bus is free during weekends. The ferries are als right around the corner.
Ryan was very responsive - we got almost immediatly an answer to our questions. We got the keys from the concierge at the entrance of the building. The flat itself has two bedrooms, living area with open kitchen and two bathrooms.

About the Host, Ryan
Hey! My name is Ryan and I am a dad, a traveler, an entrepreneur and a performer (a long time ago). I performed onboard Royal Caribbean Cruiselines as a singer and dancer in the revue shows. I was fortunate enough to travel LITERALLY around the world over my 3 years on ships and had amazing experiences that I couldn't have packed into a lifetime of traveling had I not been "working" at the same time.
Needless to say, traveling became a bit of an obsession and since leaving cruiseships 10 years ago, I've continued to travel to new places as well as revisiting some favorites from the cruising days.
Originally I'm from LA but have lived in NY for 10 years now trading one show biz city for another. I have stopped performing but have remained on the business side of show business as a producer and founder of 2 companies tailored to performers in the Entertainment industry.
I love to look for interesting places to stay during my travels and much prefer the comfort, space, uniqueness and warmth of someone's home to an impersonal and more expensive hotel. It feels like I'm experiencing the place I visit the way the locals do.
I became a dad to an amazing baby boy in Jan, 2012 so trips to places like Australia, Africa, Europe and Hawaii are gonna be on the back burner for a while but I LOVE living in New York City and hope to help make other people's vacations to this amazing place as special as the one's I've experienced in the past.
Hope I can help make your vacation memorable!
