By virtue of its amazing and elegant engineering, the recognition of the historic architectural value of the Ralph Munroe Miami Marine Stadium marks a milestone in Miami-Dade historic preservation. By now the MiMo architectural wonderland of modest motels along Biscayne Boulevard between 54th and 77th Streets, designated a few short years ago, has become Greater Miami's hippest enclave hands down. More recently much of North Beach was placed on the National Register by virtue of its large and fine ensemble of Mid-century Modern neighborhoods and landmarks. This landmark and these districts illustrate the great variety and richness of Greater Miami's Mid-century Modern legacy. After all, the Post-World War II years were an extraordinary time in American history and it was a period of great expansion in Miami. Only 54 years-old in 1950, Greater Miami was destined to be the American metropolis with the greatest proportion of 1950s and 60s architecture. The period's advances in industry, technology and affluence are written across the cityscape.
The best: the wifi is fast, the bathroom is big and clean, the man who cares the house is friendly, dishwasher, the decor is nice, the bed was ok.
The worst: there aren't lock in the bedrooms, there aren't clothes washer, the microwaves doesn't work, the a/c doesn't work well so It's very hot at home. And the most disgusting thing I've found in a house and I can't ignore... I saw several cockroaches jumping from the roof to the kitchen and walking between the plates, glasses and food we had on the table.
Advices: definetly if you host here you need a vehicle to move around the city or you will be calling for taxis every day. I will never rent it again.
I had a wonderful time at the house, it's lovely. Awesome place to stay and awesome location. There's always a place to park and it's near everything. I'll defenitely recomend it
The listing is accurate. The house and the room are exactly what they look like in the photos. There was some initial confusion about room allocation when we arrived but it was sorted out quickly. We never got to meet Branka. However , her proxy - Mr. Enes was warm and friendly.
We fully enjoyed our stay! The house is beautiful, quiet and peaceful. All rooms are clean and neat and parking was available at all times.
We didn't meet Branka but communication prior to our stay was always fast and informative. Check-in was easy, totally recommend staying there!
The place was cute and artsy. Nothing crazy but a great price and very central. I wouldn't not recommend this place if you do not have a car. We had a car and bikes and drove a few miles closer to Miami beach everyday to ride around.
Enes met me when I arrived. The place was good for a quick trip, and the price was great.
