There are 2 bedrooms. One has has a double bed and the other normally has 2 single beds but I can usually put a double bed in that room if I have plenty of notice. Both rooms have bedside cabinets and individual side lights, wardrobe and chairs. Towels are provided. I can also provide a baby's cot if required. The apartment is suitable for 2 couples or a couple with 2 children (and a baby).
There is a 3rd bedroom - mine, which is also my study. This is private and there is no access. Lounge, bathroom, balcony and kitchen you will share with me and my cat, Molly, if I or my housekeeper(s) are there. If I´m not you have them to yourself.
Spanish TV channels, DVD player and internet (Wi-Fi) are available for your use. If I am there you can use the telephone by arrangement.
There is a table with 6 chairs in the dining area and a 3-seater sofa and an armchair in the lounge. The lounge has air conditioning/heating and a ceiling fan. Even in summer air conditioning is not required but if you do need it there is an extra charge of €5 per day.
The fitted kitchen has an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, sandwich-maker, and washing machine. Hot water is provided by an electric immersion heater located in a cupboard in the kitchen.
There is free residents’ parking behind the apartment block and a free residents-only swimming pool close by in a secluded grassy area with plenty of shade. The pool is open from mid-June to mid-September. I can provide additional towels for the pool or beach. There is a tennis court adjacent to the pool.
The apartment is on the 5th floor (elevator) of a block in a mainly Spanish part of the town within 2 minutes´ walk of bars, restaurants, shops, banks, pharmacies and supermarkets. The balcony has a sea view and looks over the bay towards Málaga.
10 minutes’ walk will bring you to the pedestrianised calle San Miguel, where hundreds of people gather to enjoy the hustle and bustle of this shopping centre: there are restaurants, cafés, bars and interesting stores everywhere.
20 minutes’ walk away is the beach. There are plenty of sunbeds (with shade) for hire and a great selection of chiringuitos (fish restaurants) and bars on the beach if you plan to spend all day there.
Málaga airport is 10 minutes away by car (taxi is €19) or 15 minutes by suburban train from the station in the centre of Torremolinos (€1.65). This station is 10 minutes´ walk from the apartment. Málaga city (25 minutes) and Fuengirola (30 minutes) are at either end of this train service.
Days out to Gibraltar and Algeciras with ferries to Africa (Ceuta and Tangiers, Morocco), Ronda, Seville, Córdoba and Granada are possible and are about 2 to 3 hours car drive away. There are also bus tours to these places from the centre of Torremolinos.
From December 1 to May 1 you can go skiing in the Sierra Nevada either by car (2 hours) or on an excursion. The ski resort has 100 Km. of slopes starting at 2200 m. over sea level going up to more than 3,000 m. It is possible to rent ski equipment at the resort.
1. The price for the apartment is all-inclusive (except for breakfast, and phone calls or any other mutually-agreed add-ons). The charge is the same whether it is occupied by one or four (five) people.
2. There is an additional charge of €10 for single night stays. Single night stays are not bookable in July and August.
3. One bedroom room normally has a two single beds but I can provide a double bed instead if you give me plenty of notice.
4. Although there is an elevator from the entrance lobby to the 5th floor there are a few steps from pavement level to the elevator. For this reason the apartment is not really suitable for wheelchair users, especially if they are unaccompanied.
This is a no smoking apartment and that includes the balcony, elevator and anywhere within the building, including stairwells.
Please treat the apartment as you would your own home and leave it clean and tidy as you find it.
We thoroughly enjoyed staying Perry's flat. Molly the cat behaved herself and all was as promised. The short walk to the beach was most entertaining with all the shops and bars to see on the way.
This is a very homey apartment and it's close to the beach and the main area of the town (10-15 min walk), and several grocery stores (5 min).
We had a short stay and didn't meet Perry but everything went smoothly and was as we expected it to be so we had a wonderful stay in Torremolinos.
The apartment was very nice and clean. Perry couldn't meet us, but his friend Sally was there. She was lovely. She showed us Torremolinos and we all went for dinner together.

I am British and am originally from London. I have lived in Spain for 5 years. My main home is in a small village between Granada and the south coast. I let a room in that house when I am there and also rooms or the whole apartment in my flat in Torremolinos on the Costa del Sol.
