Description

The Space

Wonderful studio in one of Barcelona's best quarters, El Born.
It hosts up to four guests:
2 in double bed,
1 in single bed, in separate bedroom;
1 in expandable couch in the living room.

It's ideal for couples, very cosy and has everything you need to make your stay comfortable:
AC
Heating
Fridge
Microwave
Toaster
Induction plates
Kettle
Fan
WIFI (with one of the fastest and reliable speeds in Spain)
TV
Hair-Dryer
Vacuum-cleaner
Washing Machine (no dryer)

It's location is Strategic at the heart of Born neighbourhood, from where you can either walk everywhere, or take the metro to see other parts of the city.

Close to some of the best restaurant, shops, bars you plan to visit and many of Barcelona's places of interest such as: the Picasso Museum, the Santa Maria del Mar Cathedral, the Cathedral, Santa Caterina Market, Convent de Sant Agustí and so on. Also at a walking distance from Las Ramblas, Parc Ciutadella, Arc de Triomf and the beach.

Nearest metro stations are: Arc de Triomf (L1, red line) & Jaume I (L4, yellow line). Buses are around the corner but, who wants them? It's a great occasion to rent bikes and see the city from the eyes of the local. We can recommend good bike rentals on-the-block.

The square in which the apartment's located in is lively and has a great ambiance mixed between locals, expats and tourist. We are on a very short first floor through stairs. No elevator. The entrance is surrounded by terraces and people chilling on a friday afternoon after work, or having breakfast under the sun. Regardless the fact that this is a party wise area, the noise proof windows help a lot when it comes to rest, but keep in mind that they are not 100% noise proof and that you might hear an occasional street singer, or the kiddy park next to the house. Usually it is quiet at night, as the fuzz ends around 1 midnight. There is a bar downstairs, so it's possible you hear the music even if there is a special noise wall on the ground to prevent it, the vibration crawls up. Usually they open until 1 am Thursday to Sunday.

We'll be happy to give you tips on the non touristy places as well as directions on how to move around. Benvingut a Barcelona!

We meet personally every guest, unless we take days off outside Barcelona. Maria is who usually meets everyone.
Usually check in is swift as we know you are tired and want to relax after your trip. But we love chatting also and kind of play it by ear.
We are open to have a chat/coffee/walk with you on following days, only in case you tell us.
We love recommending and learning about nice places to go. Please feel free to add your suggestions to our list!

Excellent neighborhood, close to metro stops and nice to walk around everywhere. It's been getting more touristy over the years, but still holds the charm of the local people as well as locals from other parts of town that come here to have a drink.
It's super centric, close to the Gotico, Eixample, The Beach and only 15 minutes away from Plaça Catalunya and Raval areas.
Ciutadella Parc is right two minutes away. Chocolate Museum and tons of good places to eat out.
We love el Born, you'll see why when you come.

Aerobus to Plaça Catalunya and either walk (20') or taxi to Comerç/Princesa intersection that is the closest. We are on a pedestrian street with no car access.
The train is still developing for the new Terminal and it takes too long, but it's economy choice. There is no direct metro from the airport in Barcelona, the connection is not good with the train (yet, we are hoping this will be fixed soon!)
You decide which transport you'd like and from there we can send you more detailed information for each case.

Other Things to Note

We rather rent for long term periods and are willing to offer you a very special price.
We make you sign a simple contract to prove that this is not a touristic apartment.

House Rules

We ask mainly to respect the place, after all the more you take care of it, the more you will enjoy it and if others do the same, the better condition you will have when you arrive.
Avoid Partying at the apartment. The action goes on in the streets and you could have the police called by the neighbors, so it's not a good idea.
Please don't use towels as de-make up (part of rule nº1)
Always try to use the necessary and intended towels and sheets for your stay.
Never open the door to anyone, nor answer the intercom.
It's not allowed to hang towels outside the balcony, there is a clothes rack inside the patio or a laundromat around the corner.
Always make sure your door and main street door are closed. (safe area, but it's always nice towards other tenants)
