This cute, cozy, and quiet studio cabin offers a unique off-grid experience with no cell service. Internet is provided. It is set up for 2-3 people. Relax in our comfy Montana log furniture with a love seat (converts to a sleeper), mini-fridge and coffee maker. Electric for Kintla is serviced by our generator power system. The cabin has vaulted ceilings adding to the roomy feel with full bathroom amenities. A porch and fire pit give a true experience under the Big Sky.
No park permit needed.

The space
Please know this is an off grid cabin located in an area with long stretches of gravel roads. There is NO cell service. We do provide internet. You DO NOT need a park permit to access Polebridge or these cabins. If you have any concerns or questions please contact me. The Kintla is the place for you if you want a “hotel room in a cabin”, near the wilderness, but you don’t want to cook. It has a double bed and small pull out couch for sleeping. There are two unique off-grid cafe-restaurants and general stores close by for dinner and drinks or anything you may have forgotten.
The private bathroom has a large shower, a toilet (no outhouses here) and a full vanity. The large porch is a great place to enjoy drinks or snacks after your daily activities, or you can use the picnic table for outside dining. Enjoy a campfire in the evenings under the big sky. UPDATED HEATER.
The mountain air is invigorating when the windows are open but if it turns too chilly the cabin is equipped with a propane gas heating system. Again electricity is limited so please be aware of medical or other devices that may be of concern.
Please note we do not allow pets or smoking on the premises.
Also campfires are dependent upon Forest Service fire danger warnings, we can not guarantee or predict when campfires if or will be banned at anytime during the summer season.
There is no cooking option.

Guest access
This cabin is not shared and is 1 of 4 on the grounds. There is a restaurant within walking distance and another general store and restaurant 4 miles from the cabin. The owner is 4 miles north at the Northern Lights Saloon and is happy to accommodate in any way needed. You do not need a park permit to access Polebridge or these cabins. The cabin is located in no cell service area.

Other things to note
Although this is a full service cabin it is off grid, please be mindful of this. There is electricity but it will not power high powered equipment such as fans or blow dryers. There is no cell service only internet service.
We do not allow pets or smoking.
