Our romantic riverfront cabin and bunkhouse are located in the majestic South Fork Skykomish River valley just east of the quaint picturesque town of Index. Curl up in front of a warm fire and watch movies, gather around the dining nook to play games, or relax in the hot tub or on one of the decks to enjoy the views and fresh air. If you can pry yourself away we are a 40min drive to Stevens Pass Ski Resort, 1 hr and 25mins to Leavenworth, and surrounded by miles and miles of hiking trails.

The space
Our cabin is great for a romantic getaway for two with an open sleeping loft full of windows to take in the views which opens out to one of two large decks. Checkout #loggerslanding on IG to see more photos of unforgettable times and memories @loggerslanding.

Guest access
Guests will have access to the cabin and the surrounding property which includes the hot tub on the rivers edge and private direct access to the river. (Guest Bunkhouse depending on size of party)

Other things to note
Pets are not allowed without prior approval.

Because we’re remote most people don’t get cell service. We have internet in the cabin so you can connect if you need. That said, the internet can be slow especially if several people are trying to watch videos, etc. Our smart TV is connected to Netflix, HBO Now, and Amazon providing endless movies and TV series that you can stream typically without issues.

The rail line does run through the valley and across the river from the cabin. Most guests love it and it’s tradition to take a drink when each one passes!

We recommend not drinking the tap water but we provide drinking water. I’ve had friends drink it, we bath and use it for brushing teeth etc. and have never had any issues. It just comes from the river with some filtering.

We are about 1 hr and 20mins from downtown Seattle with no traffic. Stevens Pass Ski Resort is another 40mins east up the pass. Leavenworth is another 1hr 20mins east over the pass.
