The only thing i want to insist upon, is that you have fun while you're staying in London. Treat the apartment as if it were your own (which one hopes is respectfully) have some friends around and cook them dinner (no more than 4 people in the flat though, and no parties). Any gatherings should be over by midnight. If you don't know anyone in London........stay in, watch a film and order a Domino's.
I'm an actor living in London. I love staying in Airbnb's around the world, and would be delighted to welcome you to London if you choose to rent mine. I won't pretend that the income is irrelevant, but honestly, one of the best parts of renting out a flat in this way is getting to meet so many great people from all over the world.
