About This Listing
Located in the downtown Hampton/Pinckney historical neighborhood, my comfortable 2BD is only 8 blocks to the heart of Main St. It's on a quiet street with quick access to the Swamp Rabbit Trail. Enjoy a clean space & easy access to the city.
My space is very cozy and makes a great place to unwind after a long day. The house sits on a quiet corner in the historical downtown neighborhood, and the yard is completely fenced. Yours is a private room in the back of the house with easy access to the bathroom. You are welcome to relax in the living room, equipped with a large plasma, or make use of anything in the kitchen.
My house is your house. If you want or need anything, just let me know. I love Greenville and can help you navigate the city.
Interaction with Guests
I can be as interactive (or not) as you want. I love doing Airbnb because I especially enjoy meeting and engaging with people.
I moved into this neighborhood on purpose. It's an awesome area and community that is changing in exciting ways. The first 3 blocks nearest downtown have large, beautiful homes and the other 3 blocks are super diverse in economic and demographic ways. Many investors are buying and flipping the houses on my side of the neighborhood, because this area is booming. Whether you are house hunting or exploring the city, this neighborhood gives you a perfect snapshot of Greenville's diverse culture.
Short walk/bike/drive to the bus stop, trail, and interstate. Very centrally located.
Other Things to Note
The bed is amazingly comfortable (soft pillow top) and the shower has great water pressure- always a plus when traveling!
Just act with normal courtesy, and if you are unsure about anything, just ask!
Katie's Kozy pad was exactly as described - very relaxed and inviting. Katie is a warm and inviting host. This is an ideal stop along your journey if you are looking for a low-key, casual, kick-back kind of stay. I was in town for a graduation, and I appreciated the quiet and relaxed atmosphere. Katie and her sweet dog are true friends of the traveler ;-)
Katie communicated with me the day of and was there to greet me.
This is my first time using Airbnb so I do not have any other experience to compare it with. She was a good host and she would be welcomed to stay at my home .
Because my schedule was hectic , I was out most of the time and both nights I was out late and up early to go either hiking or fishing .
Everything was great. Very convenient location. Reasonable walk/short drive to downtown Greenville.
